She may lose a little ground with Rose but the chasm isn't as deep. Rose has a good reason not to trust someone with Bella's ability, being out of control of her own mind would remind her of being out of control with her rape I think. So a little bit of an issue ahead but it doesn't last long ;)

Good chapter with a sad tinge to it. It is unfortunate that things have to be this way, but we know that it was coming eventually. I do really enjoy how you are writing this. The one thing that really made me sad about Breaking Dawn is that you barely got to see how Bella's relationships with the members of the Cullen family changed and developed. Like how you've really made Jasper and Emmett Bella's big brothers.
It would be nice to see some more interactions with Carlisle and Esme. Just because Bella has never really had parents because her mother was flighty and all that. Then Charlie was never really around. So it'll be kinda cool to see how she takes to her vampiric parents.
Anyways, really good chapter. Looking forward to seeing how Charlie handles everything and all that.

Yes, there are a few angsty type chapters upcoming, plus some outtakes that go with them that are also a little hard to read. But it really did have to be this way in order for Bella to have her new life. I am a daddy's girl and hated doing that to Charlie but it's really how I felt the books could have/should have gone.
There are a few things with Carlisle and Esme coming up although I do admit I spent more time developing the "younger" vamps relationships than the adult ones. It was harder to write them. But there are a couple moments I do think you'll like ;)
Glad you liked it and you'll get another chapter tomorrow that will give you more of a look into Charlie. Poor guy :( Thanks for the review!
