His facial expression turned serious, his smile wiped away as he stood up from his chair and leaned closer to Jessica and I. "Um, well," he looked at Jessica.
"Whatever you have to say you can say in front of Jess," I clarified, feeling my heart race. He was starting to freak me out.
He looked at me now, nodding his head. "I don't know you that well, but I'd like to think were kinda friends since we say hello every day. I mean, you have always been nice to me so I only find it right for me to tell you this."
I furrowed my brows as he looked over my shoulder, and then his, clearly making sure no one was around.
"An Angela Masen came to me today."
My heart dropped to my stomach. I stood still lungs deflated, no attempt to fill them.
"What the ** did she want?" Jessica grabbed my hand as I said nothing. I barely functioned, let alone, comprehended what he was telling us.
"She actually tried to come on to me." He laughed a little which quick started my heart to life. I need to breathe to live. "Well after that failed attempt I noticed her staring at the monitors." He turned and pointed to the six screens that videoed various parts of the building. "She asked me if I had access to all the videos that were recorded and if we actually keep them. I had no idea why she was asking until she mentioned her husband."
I gasped, placing my hand over my mouth. "She wanted to know if I personally could help her. Maybe if I have seen Mr. Masen with any type of woman."
I shook my head not wanting to hear this.
"She offered me a lot of money. I mean A Lot." He started fidgeting with some papers. My eyes came down to see a small video cassette sitting under the papers he was purposely moving. He folded the paper, slipping the tape in the middle, placed it on the desk, sliding it towards me. "No one else has seen it and I plan on keeping it that way."

I loved the spa. I am so jealous. a massage, sounds divine... Em is my buddy and that Rosalie abuses him endears me to her. He is a bear thats been declawed. Okay Emmett was too funny in the Jewelry Store, that was cute. Kinda hard to imagine that Ang and her friend just ACCIDENTLY dumped into Edward... Cant stand her either. "What the fuck did she want?" Jessica grabbed my hand as I said nothing. I barely functioned, let alone, comprehended what he was telling us.
"She actually tried to come on to me." He laughed a little which quick started my heart to life. I need to breathe to live. "Well after that failed attempt I noticed her staring at the monitors." He turned and pointed to the six screens that videoed various parts of the building. "She asked me if I had access to all the videos that were recorded and if we actually keep them. I had no idea why she was asking until she mentioned her husband."
I gasped, placing my hand over my mouth. "She wanted to know if I personally could help her. Maybe if I have seen Mr. Masen with any type of woman."
I shook my head not wanting to hear this.
"She offered me a lot of money. I mean A Lot." He started fidgeting with some papers. My eyes came down to see a small video cassette sitting under the papers he was purposely moving. He folded the paper, slipping the tape in the middle, placed it on the desk, sliding it towards me. "No one else has seen it and I plan on keeping it that way."

Ari, you are truly amazing with Emmett. He was getting himself in so much trouble. At a moment I thought he even might have ended sleeping on a cauch. He was feeling empowered I guess with Edward. Sadly for him, Edward wasn't following his lead so he was left alone for Ro to "control" him. Truly great.
They had a wonderful time with their friends, something that was also very much needed. They are starting a rough patch with the divorces, so support and friendship have to be really important and appreciated.

Ari - DLIR - What a treat!!!! This chapter Rocked....Columbus and uncharted lands was so hiliarious seriously. It was so nice having a Full Chapter without our wicked crazed Ang and pencil dick Eric! Em was pretty funny too! Of course, he always is...
When Edward was talking to Emmett about shopping for Angela's engagment ring, well that was down right sad, if you ask me. Even though everyone that reads my reviews KNOWS I have a strong dislike for her character.....but I digress; the conversation Edward had with Emmett reminds me and all the readers of just how NOT INVESTED Edward was from the very first of the marriage with her. Sad as that may be......Everyone deserves some happiness and she could find it if she wasn't so Psycho!!!!!
So glad that Edward mentioned the phone calls to Emmett, hope we get to the bottom of that before too much longer, but even if it takes a while it's intriguing to guess and presume who it be.
Thanks for the clarification in your last author's response to me that Bella is NOT leaving the Spa completely that's nice to know.
Hummm can I make a guess or prediction here? With Kitten being so insatiable as it were, hummm could it be....just saying, it wouldn't hurt my thougts or feelings any if this were the case, but.....could she be oh, lets say......preggers????!!!!! That would be a nice and interesting plot into this wonderful story..........

Okay the calls either Eric or maybe Ang hired a private DICK. She wants to trap Edward and keep him. For her it is not about love it is about the money. She may love him, but not in a good way.
Bella was so right. The best way for this to go down is seperate until the divorce is done. If ANG wont sign then file for legal seperation prior to final divorce. Make her live on less, she has no children and in some states that puts her in responsiblility for herself.
Edward needs to wise up and get a new cell. Tell only his family the new number and keep the old one if he has to talk to Ang. The quicker he stops talking to her the quicker she will pay attention.
GET A LAWYER GET A CLUE..

heheheh yah good thing there is no children.....We dont want to dwell on the whole divorce thing but it will be explained a bit more in the next chapters....We had it originally as one long one but we decided to cut it in half and post the first one sooner than waiting for the whole thing to be done...xoxooxox so any day now...:)

All right, is he dumb or just plain stupid? I realize the day is not done but if he doesn't mention to her the anonymous prank phone calls he's been getting then one of the former is true. I know it's early, but really, but I guess he's been pretty reckless throughout his life, marrying Angela just to appease his mother's wishes. Ugh, and no one has to stay married, why not just serve her & then proceed with a contested divorce? I'm not a lawyer or been divorced & that seems pretty obvious, but like I said I've never been divorced nor am I a lawyer, so what do I know.

It was worth it, ladies you must be proud of yourselves. I have to agree with Edward, Emmett and Rosalie can wait... or even assume they aren't getting there. Not that either wouldn't understand. The gifts have been given but they still have certain things pending, like a song... I hope Edward has a few days off too, and that they don't need to leave the condo for anything.
Those calls ... don't like them. Edward might have acted as if they are senseless, but I am sure he won't forget and will try to find what's going on there.
Angela is stubborn and determined, amongst other things. And what about Eric? Where is he? Has he signed yet?

So worth the wait!!! Loved how they gave themselves a time limit & limited their contact. Made the reunion that more special, sexy & meaningful!
Cannot believe Angela! Talk about living in the land of denial! Take a hint bitch! You lost, he wants out, deal with it! Where's your pride? I'm sure, as a lawyer, you can find a way to dissolve a marriage even if one party doesn't want it. Edward should just tell his Mom & her parents that they are separated & getting a divorce. Just because Angela wants to live in la-la land doesn't mean the rest of them have to.
Glad Bella's apt is secure. Hope Edward is taking safety measures too! I think it's Eric who's making the prank phone calls. He's also a partner scorned so Bella & Edward need to be on their guard. Hope Edward tells Emmett about the weird calls. Knowledge is power, folks!
Angela & Eric worry me. I can see Eric hurting Edward to get back at Bella & Angela is just plain nuts!

Seriously creepy element going on here with the phone calls; one can't help but think that its crazy Eric and that Angela is having Edward followed, I know with Edward being a lawyer and all he knows he does not need her signature, but I'm sure he wants it to be settled with less of a fight & quicker, because after all they do have ASSETTS that need to be considered in a favorable manner, since they discussed that there was no Pre Nup! But he needs to get the ball a rolling here...
Can't wait to see what else you have in store for our lovely couple now..If she is not going to be working at the Spa anymore what is she going to be doing I wonder!!!
