yes both parents are dead because of caius,  the drug is a inducer. Itsa fictional derivitive of the drug that is actually used in animal abortions and labor inducers. all the drug did was rush the labor, and the baby wanted to get out. What alot of people missed, was that, elizabeth, wasn't in danger per se, she was in the middle of giving birth. Elezar over shot the milliliters and it killed her during birth. Edward's only concentration at that point as any other baby, is getting the fuck out lmao. jasper will be strong in his own way, but definitely weaker than Edward. I wrote it this way for a reason and i can't wait til you guys get to see it

Because there wasn't a physical attack on his mother. When elizabeth was given those inducers, it just broke her blood, and the baby was ready to come out. His defenses were down, and  in that slight moment of confusion that infants have when that light hits them for the first time, Cauis staked his claim. even though edward will be able to mind read, caius will be very careful with his thoughts. Remember in twilight, how  Ed said, you can make yourself believe a lie. Caius does just that. You'll see, if i'm not making any sense lol But,

Ed's brother was a runt. Competition for space and food. Had Elizabeth lived and have a *vampire* vaginal birth, jasper would've been killed in the dominance to be born. Twin males are territorial, and usually only the strong survive, but because of the c-section (of sorts) Jasper had a chance to live. Edward only concern was being born, and getting out. He has no bond to his brother, had Jasper been a girl, they would've been born safely. Male twins in my fiction, don't survive to full term, meaning the pregnacy might start with two males, and all the time end with one. Edward and Jasper are the first of their kind to survive a fraternal pregnancy, but there won't be a bond, however Edward's presence will be so strong that jasper sometimes that jazz won't be able to be in the same room as him.  jazz is the runt of the litter so to speak a weakling, but he's just as mean as edward, he doesn't cower to anybody but his brother.

Answers to that will be posted, but i'll spill them here too. As explained, Male twins normally don't survive the term, If i'm speaking from the fiction that i came up with, they never give the news of twin boys, because they never both survive. It's always one. The technology and the way of life on their planet, knows how territorial a male can be, and even a male baby vamp can be vicious in the womb towards his brother. If elizabeth would've given a vaginal birth, edward would've killed him. Since it was c-section (of sorts, Jasper had a chance to survial, although weakly.) SO the doctors new, but did want to get the woman's hopes up  only to find out , the other baby she bonded with, was dead. So the doctors don't say anything unless it's a boy and a girl or two girls.

Yes, that is correct, although Elizabeth doesn't make the connection of Edward and Bella being true mates, since she's human and he's a vampire, but that is why she was so protective of Bella.  It's very rare- the human /vamp mate bond. You'll see =) And yes, Phil and Elise will raise Bella as their own.

Yes, you guessed right. Phil and Elise will be Bella's adoptive parents in this story, b/c Charlie and Renee will be.....dark. And b/c Phil and Elise can't concieve. And I needed a couple who would love Bella like their own. Once you'll meet Charlie and Renee in LAH, you'll be happy that Bella wasn't living with them *shivers*

Bella...will not like certain vampires very much b/c some will be cruel, however, she'll be drawn to Edward. Now Mimi is part of that reason since Mimi doesn't like to see Bella form a bond with her adoptive vamp parents. Bella does like Phil and Elise, but Mimi isn't too fond of the idea. But we're not sure how much she'll dislike vamps, I don't want it to be too extreme. I think it will depend on the actual vamp itself.

I understand, some ppl don't like to read stories that don't have a HEA. Despite being a darkward story, it still will have a HEA.

Okay....lemme think...*thinking of darkward/Edward fics with mating*....hmmm....okay, there's this one fic called My Mate on ff.net, it's complete. I believe it's by Different-kind-of-vamp. This story features a dominant Edward- not dark, but he's very dominating-keeping a close eye on his Bella at all times, and submissive Bella vamp. He let's her know who she belongs to. *wink* lol It's one of my faves. There's a few more darkward ones, kinda sorta the mate thing, but not really....but the authors havent updated for almost a year =(  Jeez, I can't think of any more...look through my favorites here at TWCS and FF.net- (my faves are under the same penname - IBelongToAVampire at FF.net) I have lots of stories saved there....maybe you can find something kinda similar there to this.

Ah yes, good question. In LAV I wanted Carlisle and Esme to be Edward's biological parents, but here the Cullen's will become his adpotive parents. And they will be dark too.

Yeah, we decided to start off the story a little differently in LAH. In LAV, you'll get a backstory from Carlisle how they came here, since he was one of the original vamps, and I may include why hybrids are forbidden during that scene. But here, we'll start from the very beginning. By chapter 3 or maybe even 2 we'll have a Bella's POV and by ch 4 we'll have an Edward's pov. We decided to alternate it when needed.

So about the abuse. Edward won't hit her, but he won't be that nice to her in the beginning either. As for the rest of the Cullens, I'm not sure how dark they will be to Bella. This is definitely a dark story unlike Living Amongst Vampires where Bella is protected and cared for by the Cullens, Charlie and Renee.
