Wow, so much happened in this chapter that this is going to be a long review. So, here I go...
Well, that ws interesting. I do not think that I have ever seen Eleazer as a bad character in any FF. I like it though.
Of course, we all know that Tanya would lie to daddy about what really happened to her. She knows that Edward is the one who did all of those horrible things to her, but she is so jealous of Isabella that she will say or do anything to get her out of the way. Only, her daddy can handle that. Brilliant move to use James as the sabotor of Isabella's career.
Wow, James is more messed up in the head than I expected him to be. He only cares about himself. I can believe that he would violate Victoria the way he did, and to imagine that it was Isabella was just so sick and perverted. I loved it, but it also made me sick.
Huge props to Coleen561 for wonderful James POV. I really hope we can hear some more of his sick twisted mind in the future?
I am so glad that Bella went to see Edward. I am pissed at Emmett for treating her the way he did because he has been her champion in so many chapters. He needs someone to take the guilt off of himself. and Bella was there for him to blame instead of himself. I do think that Emmett needs to apologize to Bella at some point. I think it was brillant to have Bella write her feelings in Edward's song book. She knew that he would read them. He uses his songs to express his emotions just like Bella does. I am so happy that Edward asked for help finally before he chickened out.
I come from a family of addicts and one month in rehab is not enough. It takes that first month to totally get all the drugs out of your system. It is in the second month that a person starts to talk and realize what drove them to becaome and addict. The third month is where the person starts to live life again inside the facility. Real rehab is at the shortest three months if someone is serious about getting help. Then after the three months the person slowly eases their way back into their life. I know that this is FF story, and it is all fiction. I was just hoping that it could be mentioned that true rehab starts with three months and for the sake of the story it was shortened to one month.
Please do not take this review as being bitchy and rude because I love this story so much!! I really can't wait to see what is going to happen next!!

I totally appreciate your review :) I spent a long time hashing out a timeline before I wrote the last two chapters exactly for the reason of how long he should stay in rehab. Realistically, I know that one month is not long enough. However, I didn't want him coming out right before Christmas and having to deal with all their baggage and emotions by adding in all those Christmasy feelings with it. It's just not how I want the story to go. I've actually talked about it a lot with my beta and I think the fact of how long he stays in rehab will be a concern in the back of everyone's mind - will he relapse? Chances are most addicts do relapse...so I want to take that all into consideration to make this story as realistic as possible and to do the characters justice. Hopefully, you'll agree with the choices I've made. :)

Poor Isabella. I can understand how torn and confused she must feel.
I agree with Carlisle: Emmett is angry at himself and at Edward - Isabella was just a convenient target.
I love your Edward. I know he's made so many mistakes, but everytime I read his POV I see someone with a good heart who's trying to find his way and who wants to be a good person. I really think his feelings for Isabella are genuine.
At least Edward HAS feelings for other people. That's more than I can say for James!

I don't think he was angry as much as in complete despair - for him it was like the nail in the coffin that he wasn't coming back. Of course, Edward is completely full of contradictions too - so I wouldn't put it past him to be upset with Bella even though he's done worse shit.

This was a fascinating chapter because of the way it showed Isabella's relationships with such a variety of people: Charlie, Aro, James, Jacob, and even Jessica. However, it's clear that her relationship with Edward is still the center of her universe; he's never far from her mind.
Her attempt to take the high road by not talking about the breakup to the media has backfired spectacularly! She is in a no-win situation.

My heart just bleeds for Edward, but at the same time I'd like to kick his ass for messing up the best thing in his life. Though it wouldn't seem like it, Edward is so insecure for being such a kickass Rock Star! And even though Em's advice before wasn't the best, his latest is something Edward needs to follow. And as much as I love Edward, he deserves getting cold-cocked by Jakob. It's sad really, but Edward is losing everyone around him. He needs to straighten out his life for him, and then go from there.

Thanks! I've had some readers who think that Bella was horrible for leaving him in his obvious time of need. I think you're right and Bella needed to leave him. Plus, it's true to her character to want to flee the situation as fast as possible. I think the guilt of her leaving him when he needed help will come back to haunt her. But he needs to be the one helping himself right now. Things will start to turn around in the next two chapters ;)

Wow, powerful chapter...the end of the last chapter was so hard to read - not that she found out he cheated on her, but when she followed him she saw him with his drug dealer buying coke, and then to add insult to injury, she had to watch him snort the coke at a club off a nasty waitress. That is just wrong and I am glad she stood her ground and ended things - even though I am an E/B addict. Right now they are just toxic for each other.
I am glad Bella sounds like she is going to pull her shit together and move past this, even if she has to sell her soul to James to get out of the tour. Their confrontation was powerful and it was only a matter of time before it all came out in the open. I hope they have hit their rock bottoms, but I am worried that Edward might have a ways to go before he reaches out for help.

Wow, definitely a tear jerker there!! My heart is breaking for Bella and Edward. Especially Bella. Her whole world came totally crashing down on her, and who is she really left with standind by her side? And Edward!! Gah!! Why do people drag themselves down that way? I mean he couldn't admit what he did, and then to lie straight to B's face about using! What was he thinking!! As you can tell, I am also furious with him and everyone else who helped keep the lie, though ultimately the blame lies with E because he threw a tantrum because B couldn't be there when he wanted her to be!
Well I will be climbing up that hill waiting and watching for the growth they will both need to come back to one another again! Please update soon!!

Not sure how many chapters it will take to get us back to the top but there's gonna be some more twists and turns as we go ;) And as I mentioned on Twitter last night (if this is you - lol!) that for Bella's character, at this point in time, she doesn't ever want to see him again. She's furious and heartbroken. But certain scenarios could change all of that in a blink of an eye ;)

Although it seems like Isabella is running away from the situation, I can't hardly blame her for wanting distance at this point.
The confrontation with Edward was just HEART-WRENCHING!! I couldn't help but feel sorry for him, even though he brought this all on himself. He even tried to lie about the drugs (one-time thing, yeah, sure). He has a lot of growing up to do, but I still love the character you've created and I want to see him grow up and become a better person, and then I want him to find his way back to Bella!
But the clincher was Edward, the proud, cocky rock star, on his knees, crying and holding onto Bella's legs while begging incoherently for her to stay. That was one of the most emotional scenes I've ever read in fan fiction.

I think I'm going to have to drink a lot of wine and play angst music to get in the mood haha. But I just figured out how I'm going to end the next chapter and I have to say I'm a little excited over it (some people may hate it though haha)

I am proud of you. This is hard. The users have to find the bottom before they can come back, if they are ever going to. She had to walk away. She had to. Let's face this all drug users lie. They are addicted and that is their internal focus to feed that addiction. Everyone gets hurt. I have had this happen in my own family. I had to be that Bella and you know it almost killed me. In time when all was repaired and the drugs were gone I was so glad I had done it. I told a friend once who had a son that was using that You can not change what you will NOT confront.
You did well! Keep it going and don't let that get you down writing. Find us the good. Now Edward has to face life without Bella. Next huge part for him. SHE SAID EVER.

I'd like to say that by Bella just leaving him it'd be enough of a wakeup call for Edward, but you're absolutely right - he is an addict. And he can't get help until he actually realizes it and admits it himself.

First of all, I snuck over here from Twilighted to read all of the posted chapters of this story and I have to say a few things.
I LOVE the way you have written Bella in this story. I just really like how strong and real and just the type of person she is.
I am so sad about Edward's lying and his life going downhill. It's so sad and heart breaking to read. I hope he is able to turn around and somehow redeem himself. He makes me so sad.
Poor Bella. Her world is crumbling around her. Also, i do not like nor trust James.

Thank you so much! I always hated how Bella was portrayed in Twilight....I love strong, independent Bella characters. Your chapters are always so jam-packed with action and important scenes! You keep moving the story forward at a breath-taking pace. Each conversation just communicates so much, while still feeling authentic and "real" for the characters involved.
Whether it's Tanya coming clean in the parking garage, or Charlie (and then Aro) helping Isabella understand the business of music, or Jasper and Emmett trying (and failing) to help Edward, or even Edward's heart-wrenching conversations with himself (full of self-loathing and guilt): it's all just so compelling.
I can't wait to see what you have planned for chapter 20!

Hmm maybe 3-4? Next chapter is all Bella's POV with the confrontation (I'm already halfway through writing that - it's so easy to write an angry Bella haha!). Edward's will be after that. I'll probably focus a little less on Edward after that while I show Bella struggling to find her indentity without Edward and gain her own independence. There's only so much self-hating, guilty, drunk Edward you can write until something big happens to him to change that ;) I definitely want to get Carlisle and Esme in there at some point kicking some ass too haha.

I'm so glad you gave us EPOV for the scene at the bar and the accident! I think it really helps, since Bella was a bit "out of it" during this time.
Now you have me curious about what words of wisdom Carlisle has for Edward! It's important that Edward realized how rare it was for him to not get what he wanted in life. It explains a lot about his immaturity. Also, it's good to see that he has a family who loves him.
I admired the way he took the fall for Isabella and how he was trying to get her to shut up in front of the police. He really wants to be her hero! And his almost confession to her . . . so close! You're killing me! I loved it!
I hope Isabella sets Charlie straight on what really happened in the accident; he hates Edward enough already!

Haha I think you're the only one that still wants them together at this point. Most readers want Bella to kick him to the curb. The whole point of the story is for them to find their way backs to one another...but I think both of them need to work on themselves as well.

Well I'm sorry I lost a reader. I think the whole point of the story IS there's too much mess. This is the look at how a high profile relationship slowly disintegrates. I think Bella's thoughts in this chapter when she wondered, "How did we become so toxic?" speak volumes. Trust me, I know exactly what I'm doing and each action I'm making the characters take in order to rip them apart - but each action they've made also ties into the storyline of how they'll eventually find their way back to one another as well. Nothing I do is simply to create havoc in their lives. It's complete organized chaos. I'm sorry that you don't see my vision - but I'm sure there are plenty of other fanfics that probably fit your taste better anyway.

I am so glad that neither one of them were hurt badly. I should have known that Edward would take the fall for the accident if it was not that serious. I guess that it is to early in the story for a horrible accident to hurt one of them.
Damn police! Edward was about to come clean about Tanya, and they had to come in a mess it up. When Bella finds out about Tanya, Edward is going to lose her. Her dream where he was on his knees holding onto her shirt and she was looking at him with disgust in her eyes as the door closes is forshadowing. We also know that Bella will turn to Jacob when Edward breaks her heart.
I really would love for someone to kick Edward in the nads for all the shit he had done to screw Bella and himself.
Boy, these two "kids" sure have messed up big time. I hope that one day that they can find a way to forgive each other and have their happily ever after.

I'm actually nervous to write the next two chapters...I gave everyone (including myself) a glimmer of hope to see Edward rise to the occassion and do such a selfless act out of love for Bella. But he still hasn't learned from his mistakes. I feel like each chapter is a different side to bipolar Edward ;)

Okay, I take back my Edward is stupid comments from the last chapter. This pair is proving to be a match made in heaven - both have the most self-destructive behaviors and I can't decide which is worse, the hurt they bring each other or the hurt they bring themselves, if that makes any sense.
To a point, I can't blame Bella's reaction. She feels betrayed by the one who claims to love her and virtually abandoned by her father, and let's face it, after the childhood abandonment issues she has from Renee, her dad up and quitting mid-tour and flying back home would be a slap in the face for Bella's fragile ego...add to that the fact that her father didn't even quit due to her actions, but instead due to Edward's careless bragging. That being said, I do have to agree with her new agent James - although he sounds like a complete ass and is totally undermining where she wants her career to go, the fact that she is playing into the stereotype that Edward bragged about is appalling - going out every night dressed slutty is not helping the image that Edward lied about. These rock stars are sooo immature sometimes, or maybe I have just forgotten what it is like to be that age and make poor decisions :)
As for Edward, it was good for him to take the heat and see exactly what his words have cost him, and throwing him to the wolves, excuse me, ladies of the view was very entertaining to read. I also liked that he was the one to save her from that nasty man's attention at the club, and he got to witness firsthand how the immature words he said in the video have affected Bella and what people, especially single males, now think of her...it is fitting in a way.
All I have to say about the end of this chapter is poor Jake, I hope he had insurance on that car rental. Oh, and nice cliffy, can't wait to read what happens next, and I can't believe but I know we still haven't hit the bottom yet because Bella still doesn't know about Tanya in Vegas, finding that out is when it's really going to hit the fan. Can't wait!

Yeah, I decided to twist it this chapter and have Bella be the one messing up. I didn't want her to just be the perfect innocent victim in all of this. She has her own personal problems that she's going to have to overcome in this story as well. Fortunately for Bella (and unfortunately for Edward), Bella will be able to learn from her mistakes much faster than Edward.
