It is so so very sad that Edward couldn't be wrong about Charlie. I could never imagine what that would feel like to face your father and know that he is a lying, power hungry, corrupt, scum bag. I wish that Bella stayed on the bike. I know that she wanted to believe in her father, but Edward asked her to follow these simple rules. She has trusted him so far; she needed to in this instance. Maybe the danger wouldn't have been Charlie. Things could have been a lot worse. When she was remembered the hospital I was thinking back about Mike and Angela. I don't think that they survived. I think that Charlie would have wanted to clear out any possible witnesses. I hope I am wrong. I was wondering when Charlie called Edward by his first and last name on how did he know that? And, the part about Carlisle and him not getting anything. I don't think that Edward would have profited, but the other one... Bella did an awesome job protecting Edward. He is all she has left in the world, and vice versa. I would love to know more about his 'father'. Both of their 'fathers' seem to be cut from the devil himself.
 
Just hearing the little bit about Edward's past broke my heart. I swear most people these days should NOT be parents in any form. He should kill that s.o.b. I am just saying. I have a hunch of who is mother is. I do know that Bella was told that her mother died in a car crash when she was 5, and then Edward said his mother died the same and around the same age. But, we don't know if Isabella and Edward are the same age. Just speculating. I can't wait to find out about Aro. In answer to your question of yummy or meh... yummy.

Of course he was trying to push her away with his actions. If she wants to know Edward than she needs to know what else he has done. He was being honest; he just didn't have to do it while assaulting her neck. Bella knew that Edward was far from a saint though. She even joked about it to herself about going on killing sprees. Albeit she didn't know just how close she was to that statement. So the question is now, why , she is so upset with this latest revelation? I am not saying that she doesn't have the right to feel hurt. My questions to her is 'why does she feel hurt by this knowledge'. And, does it change the fact that he has/does protect her? I laughed when she thought about how she shouldn't scream at killers. haha When did that stop her before?

I was so worried for Bella when she fell into the river. I am so proud of her for how she handled herself in the water. I didn't think that he would be too far away, but I was still relieved. I did catch that I could care less parts, the beautiful, and the thumb action. nice. ;) Whether Edward believes it or not he is beautiful to Bella. Accept it and move on. :) I wonder how the helicopter knew their location. Do they know about Ivories tracking as well? I wonder why he is letting her go? I can't wait to find out. Don't worry, Bella, your Edward will come back I am sure.

Anything I say will be inadequate to express how I feel right now. This chapter (nay, this entire story) has been superb. The action is enough to make you eager to continue reading without overwhelming, the emotional backdrop is exquisitely portrayed. Last chapter, I felt the betrayal of Charlie. I felt that moment where Bella's heart dropped into her stomach with the sudden and complete knowledge that the man she always loved as a child never really existed. This chapter has gone so far in so much as displaying Edward's emotions goes. The small signs, the fact that he called her a beautiful dork and baby, the fact that he had never before made such a face as when he finds the guns pointed to Bella... all of these add together to paint such a complete image of emotion. It's quite fantastic. I am eagerly anticipating your next update, but more importantly, I thank you deeply for this one!

I just finished reading this story and adding it to my favorites! This is such an intriguing story and I can't wait for another chapter! Surely, Edward will run with Bella to find Charlie. Bella has already proven that she won't survive alone to get out of the forest.

Well I thought you were gone. Well yes and I had to read back to totally remember.  It was really intense.  Yes it was good. I still don't understand her running. She knew he has to do what they tell him to do. He is a killer. He has protected her. So, I guess I was somewhat upset with her.

I am so glad I never have to make those choices.

Holy crap! I couldn't sleep last night so I got up around 2am. I don't remember how I found you. I do remember reading your short story over at FF a long time ago. Other than sleeping a couple of hours and then taking the kids to school, I have devoted the last nine hours of my life to you.

How you can paint every scene without over describing everything is beyond anything I've read before. Trust me, I've read too many for my own good. Your prose, style, and story line is amazing.

Get off of your orange chair and change it to a red velvet throne and the little pillow's place should be at your feet with your readers anxiously waiting for the next update.

I did miss this one. I guess I will just have to sit in my bed, with my laptop, and read. Oh damn. It is so weird to re-read this and review when I already know future events. But, I will not reveal anything. nope. It was decent of Edward to give Bella some space when she was in her head. It was also decent of him to at least give her privacy to dress. Unlike their sexy bathroom time. I still say without a doubt that he peeked too, and on more than one occasion. haha Edward does she to have penchant for touching her. Instead of peeping with his eyes, he uses his hands. Bella should still be careful of this Alice. She is not to be trifled with. She is probably very sweet, but is Carlisle's daughter. I do wonder how Alice was 'Saved', or what she needed saving from. It should have been up to Bella on whether or not she wanted to be 'saved'. Personally I probably would have shouted something like 'I didn't ask to be saved you stupid bitch'. You know depending on where my PMS level is at the moment. Either that, or I would have been meek and taking everything in to plan my escape. haha She might have been saved, but that doesn't give them the right to keep her captive. Is it better to be alive and imprisoned, or dead and free? In my opinion I would choose the former; it seems the with the latter you can't escape. Again I wonder what Edward paid when he took responsibility. The doctor is a crazy man, albeit smart usually, this time not so much in very close call. What would be the point in sparring her life only to rip it apart without use? Risky. Genius is more calculated than that. Stupid move Bella. Patience is a virtue that is best heeded to. It is a good thing that Edward is very fast.. we hope. Aww we know she makes it otherwise the story is done. lol

Damn I thought I had already reviewed to this chapter. lol I am seriously surprised that Bella hasn't made the connection between Edward and the Red Ribbon Killer. I think if she had a clearer head at the moment and seriously thought about it, it would come to her. The old adage of 'be careful what you wish for' seems to prove true to Bella. Freedom ALWAYS comes with a price. The questions are what are you willing to pay for, and how far are you willing to go for it? I liked how the wolves were incorporated into this chapter. Even though they did not seem to be in harmony with Jake and his crazies. I liked how it seemed symbolic? Maybe that is just me. Jelena may have given Jake the general area of where she was; I do wonder how he found her so precisely. It makes me wonder if there was a tracking device in that coat of hers; that helped Edward find her even faster. Edward can be a controlling jackass in this story, but it was nice to see a little bit how much he is affected by her again. It was nice to seem him care for her in the aftermath.

I feel like I can never do your chapters justice in my reviews. I am always completely captivated by the story line. I couldn't wait, and still can't to find out what happened 3 days prior. Edward does have a way with the ladies. lol I really doubt throwing knives at them is a successful tactic. But, it is successful when teaching someone survival skills. I am sure it will come in handy in the future. Given her very cold morning she has earned every right to be in there for more than 10 minutes. Besides Edward needed the time to get that blush under control. lol I am not sure he wants to pounce out of anger though...Just saying. I have to say that I LOVED HER line when she came out of the bathroom. I think she meant to say she was losing her sanity, and not her insanity though. This was when she reflecting on her time in her room. Edward deserved to feel ashamed. At least this Alice is realizing that Bella and her are not besties right away. It is a nice change of pace. I like how this Bella doesn't just give in and conform. I do laugh every time I read the section about Edward not hurting Bella and her not seeing. lol She knows Edward, but Bella thinks he is insane. And, that he wants to dismember her given the chance. It is just so laughable that Carlisle is the dangerous one. lol Corporal Whitlock sounds like it should be in a classic 20s movie. I like it. You showed that Edward was human underneath his armor. He didn't gloat, and nor was he brought of his gun slinging. I hope Bella recognizes that on some level. I wasn't surprised to see Edward sleeping next to her. It's Edward, and isn't shy. Creepy with stalker tendencies, yes, but shy? Nope. Moms tend to have that affect on their children. I personally can't wait to see what Renee has to say. I loved rereading this chapter (as always). Sorry it took so long to review. I am off to read the next one. Hopefully it won't take me so long to review, but I usually can't figure out what to say to yours right away. Too mysterious. lol

First off, I had actually read this chapter when it first posted. It takes me so long to review back to your chapters because for two reasons: (1() RL, and (2) your story is so much different from anything else I have read. I hope that you take that as a compliment, because I certainly meant it to be one. Your Carlisle and Emmett are very disturbing. lol You write them in a way that is not appalling to the change. One to the review. I love Bella and the fight in her. However, that being said she is also a smart woman. I wont goes as far as saying that she deserved to be shot, but going to his office when told otherwise was dumb. If you are abducted by a bunch of crazies that has some plan for you; you have to play the game eventually. I can see them putting her on even more of a lock down. The same goes for them that if they honestly believe she is going to cooperate 100% is unfathomable. If she was a woman who just rolled over every time then she wouldn't be what they need. I have to say Edward is a real 'hands on' kinda guy isn't he? I think we all know that he has some attraction to her. Especially, since he was sealing with her a kiss not so long ago. I think he more or less was doing it this time as a reassurance that she was in-fact alive.

Well, of course Bella was going to defend Charlie he was the father that she thought she knew. Sad part was it taken her long to accept this logic Edward was spewing. Apart of her still may not want to believe it. Hell, I can't wait to read it for myself. I wonder what happened in that last fight to bloody him up like that. By that I mean I wonder what the last moments where like for 'Father of the Year'.

I know that this sounds sick and all, but I am happy that she drew blood. Edward is a bastard. They all are. Unfortunately, even though Alice was being sweet in the end, she is one of them that also threw knives at her. Do they honestly believe that she will not try to leave the moment that their backs are turned? I like this strong and feisty Bella. I like that Emmett is a blonde. It really is sorta fitting. And, I don't mean because of the blonde's ones are considered dumb. I mean because usually his personality is so light and airy. The least they could do is give her clothes that will cover her completely; especially with everything that they have put her through. That was a low blow on Edward's part to mention bringing Jake back. But, then again he is being a bastard. I would have bitten him harder, and kneed him if I had the chance. lol What can I say? I am fighter. lol. Looking forward to the next chapter!

That is a sweet old man. I am sure that he is saying a prayer for the group. Mike isn't so bad anymore. I always thought a man with a manicure was odd. I will tell the escape through the hospital floor had me hooked. I guess people will surprise you. I was when Mike covered their bodies with his. I am happy that Bella was saved, but I want to know about Angela and if Mike had survived the impact.

That is the question that every child loves to hear from their parent, 'Is something wrong with you?'. Apparently, we know that van had gone missing. Intriguing, Watson. I don't think Charlie was necessarily making fun of her; he was just thinking that it sounded... off. No report, and personal history made him see thinks for a humorous point. However, he should have believed his own daughter. I am glad to see such a strong friendship with Angela and Bella. Angela usually such a background character, I like that she is more in the front view. I am sure that Angela was getting that being watched feeling as well, and she knew.

Am I to believe that her green-eyed shadow is a foretelling of the future? Intriguing, to say the least. I feel for this lonely Bella, she basically alone in the world. Yes, she has her father, but she was distant on that. I laughed when I read about what Mike could do to his coffee cup. That bastard wishes she was his cup, and not the cup that is dumped over his over styled pop hair wannabe. I probably would have told him sure on wanting to see, and soon as I found the tweezers, magnifying glass, and my coke-rimmed glasses. Ahh, Daria that takes me back. *Wipes a tears of nostalgia.* I would kick at Mike in the balls in the parking lot; indicating to keep everything , including breath to himself. Damn, I think your story helps bring the fire out of me. Oh, wait it was already there, but thanks for the encouragement. haha
