Your writing is so powerful. Your characters so fucked up. I can easily understand her anger towards Edward, esp., after five years wanting to right wrongs. You what? He wanted rough sex and she needed the money and enjoyed the sex. What's the problem? Well, it’s the feelings and thoughts that go with those transactions that create the problems. She has "coped" by suppressing everything in her life that makes her unhappy. He obviously has decided to face his demons. I suspect his motivation for seeking her out has more to do with his wellbeing then hers but I am a bit of a cynic. I am very interested to see where you take these two. Its been a pretty rough ride so far, I see no sign of anything going well for them, as yet. (Maybe I am not so cynical after all.)
Just a thought but Bella needs professional help because she is one fucked up broad. If she cannot pull herself together she is going to lose the life she fought so hard to gain, that would be tragic.
It’s always a pleasure to read your work. I am so looking forward to the next instalment.

I think the natural inclination for a natural survivor like Bella would be to look for solace in the fact that they "both got what they wanted" and therfore it was "no big deal". But the fact is that she has not really found solace. It has defined her life in ways that she does not even realize, and now with Edward coming face to face those inner conflicts are resurfacing. I know she is angry that he has infiltrated her life after all this time, but obviously there is a part of her that is fixated on the past. I think she might have been well served to let him explain himself. I had a feeling at the end of last chapter when he just showed up, and with his obvious change in appearance and demeanor, that he was on a mission so to speak to apologize to people he had wronged, kind of a checklist like with Alcoholics Anonymous. Honestly, if said checklist were his motivation I would be even more pissed if I felt that he was there to appease his own conscience rather than to appease me and the wrongs that he inflicted. But Edward had a point when he said that she found it easier to call herself a whore than to accept his apology. She needs to talk to somebody. Personally I would like her to talk to Edward, because I am curious about not really that he is apologizing but that it took five years for him to feel that he needed to do so. I really enjoyed the chapter. Looking forward!

I feel dedded after reading that rollercoaster chapter. I just cannot fathom why he would need to find her. Does he have some deep seeded feelings for her? I don't think so. I think maybe in his 5 year blackout from us, someone has kicked his ass for his idiotic behavior. Why would he need to make amends to her though? She was never a victim.
She definantly put aside her self to make ends meet but I don't see her as a wronged party. Maybe I am being obtuse about it though. A young struggling student and a wealthy powerful man. The addition of money changing hands and I can see where she might have been taken advantage of. There is a lot of grey area here.
I am simply fascinated to see how she will pull her head out of her ass and start actually facing her problems and stop avoiding them all the time.
