I was right about why she hasn't told him to call her Bella :) I have a feeling Bella is having lovely little fantasies about Edward. I haven't decided how innocent she is. I don't think she's so innocent tha she's never masturbated but I would say she's still a virgin.
I have a feeling either one of parents is an alcoholic or maybe someone close to her was seriously injured or killed in a drunk driving accident. That would definitely explain her aversion to alcohol.

I really don't like Charlie and that's saying quite a lot coming from me. Charlie is on of my favorite characters and I tend to love him no matter how nasty he is. Your Charlie has just rubbed me the wrong way. He's so greedy and rude. He obviously demands respect from Bella. No wonder she is so submissive. Charlie has no one to blame but himself for his daughter sticking out to Tasteward like a sore thumb.

I loved this chapter because it really moved things along in the story. Now Isabella is at the estate; and she and Edward got closer at dinner. She is an artist so she has lots of emotion. She is 18 so here comes the hormones. She is Catholic so she is probably a virgin because of her shyness and her father wears a gun and has instincts about people that are more developed than the average person.
