No, I don't hate Charlie yet- it remains to be seen if he is going to try to take any of the money for himself, or if he is just trying to help his baby girl have as easy a life as possible while she goes to school! I mean, he obviously can't give her much, and she'd have to work while going to school to help support herself, so maybe he's just trying to get her as much as possible so she can just concentrate on school and her career. Now, if he does try to drain any of the money off for himself, that opinion can and will change drastically- though I really hope that doesn't happen. I mean, he wants Bella to be happy and whole, and something like that would break her and cause her to need therapy. Every girl needs her daddy to be a hero, not a slug!!

Yeah, Charlie is not cool in this fic. It seems he is only after money, moreso than Bella's happiness. I'm hoping that with her being 18, she will grow a backbone and tell him that she's doing what she wants to do and move in with Edward. This is a once in a lifetime experience and Charlie should see that. And I think $10,000 is a lot of money and if he's pushing for more, he's jut greedy. It's Bella's work, not his.
