I just started this story today. I've read every chapter and I love it! I love the relationship between Edward and Bella in the story. I like that Seth is a major part of the story. My kids are older (10 & 16) but they both have special medical/educational needs. I know about doctors and hospitals and medicines. So, great big mommy hugs to you for all those times we spend sitting up/lying awake, etc. worrying about our kids and wondering what comes next! Anyway, lol, I don't expect an answer, because it's a major plot point, but my guess to anonymous is Seth's dad. I thought it could be Carlisle, but after reading this last chapter, I don't think he'd wait so long to confront Edward. At any rate, I can't wait for the next chapter. Your writing style is wonderful!

Great update and it is nice that Rose is being supportive & Esme but what the hecks with Carlisle. It seems unbelievable that he would take all the credit for Edward being President, what a fool.
On another note I cringe every time I read about Seth being put to bed with a bottle of formula. All I can picture is all the kids & pictures of kids I have seen with bottle rot syndrome. If you're not familiar with it I highly recommend you look it up. It seems like playing Russian roulette with your kids teeth putting them down with a bottle that's anything but water.

I do know about bottle rot syndrome and I know that it is a risk that I take with my son. However, I have a lot more serious issues that I face with him, such as his food allergies, and he was recently diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis, which is a lifelong issue he will face having to permanently avoid the foods that trigger it or risk choking on food and having his throat begin to close up on him. Some people with EE have it so severe that they have to be tube fed and we don't luckily.
With the bottle at bedtime, my son (who is the real life Seth for the story) gets his bottle, finishes it, and then lays in his crib for about 30 minutes before going to sleep. Then, in the middle of the night he wakes up screaming for a bottle and he gets one then. When he's done with it, he will push it to the side, grab his pacifier, and go back to sleep. He is very small for his age, only 32 inches tall and just finally hit 25 pounds. He can wear the same clothes he wore when he was 12 months old and he will be 2 in 2 months. Because of his small size and the very little amount of food he can actually eat, he is mainly bottle fed. His formula is a prescription only one that I have to get through the pharmacy because it is actually a medical food supplement.
I know that bottle rot syndrome is more so caused by juices and sweetened water in the bottle, but can be caused by milk, breast milk, or formula. However, the major causes of it are juice and sweetened water. My son does not get these as we don't know if he's allergic to the juices (which he can be and he doesn't need them so why have them in the first place?) and sweetened water is something that I never give to a child because it's wrong in my opinion.
But, with him, I have to pick and choose my battles based on the level of risk, and bottle rot syndrome is at the bottom right now because my main worries are keeping him able to eat foods, increasing his safe food list, keeping him growing, and keeping him from ending up in the hospital due to his allergies. Everything else comes in way behind.

Rest assured you’re not the only person who suffers from “Test Anxiety”. Beefing the GPA is a good buffer – but not really a solution. With two Bachelors and a Masters degree, I’ve suffered along with you on more than one occasion.

As far as who the Mystery POV is I have to wonder if it isn't Esme. She has been known to be evil in other fics, and would be the perfect bad guy in this one. If it is her I think her motivation is either jealousy or revenge: bottom line for both theories is that hubby didn't get elected President, but may be attempting to find a way in for Carlisle. She just has a side kink for Rosalie. I don't put anything past any of these fics these days. ;-) There are a few other theories as to whom the Mystery POV belongs to (Emmett, Jake, Aro, VP Cheney), but for now I'll stick with Esme.

I have been where she is with my daughter. She has CVS (Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome). I had to find out what she had via the web because after dozens of visits with the same damn symptoms the doctors still would just tell me it was nothing but a routine stomach virus. And to this day they still look at me with a smirk on their faces, pricks!

I just went and looked up CVS as I hadn't ever heard of it before. OMG I feel for you and your daughter. I know what you have gone through with the misdiagnoses. That happened with my son too. It took 3 allergists, a gastroenterologist, and 2 pediatricians to finally figure out that he had FPIES. One allergist said it was mild IgE allergies (the ones that are normal and cause anaphylactic shock). The second allergist told us that he had no issues to milk even though he slipped into a slight shock state after an office trial of milk. And our GI doc was referred by that allergist suggesting a protein intolerance and the second allergist told us it wasn't food allergies. The GI doc scoffed at the second allergist, told us what FPIES was, said that Cayden was a prime example of it and had been misdiagnosed with reflux by himself and his first pediatrician as it can mimic reflux. He sent us to our third allergist who is amazing! Our new pediatrician is also wonderful and has taken it upon himself to learn about FPIES so he can help with the treatment and management of Cayden's symptoms and reactions.
How is your daughter now? Is she on medications to help control the cycles? Have you found new doctors so you don't have to see the idiots who don't believe you? I'm keeping you and your daughter in my thoughts and I hope her life does or has drastically improved now that you know what she has.

Was Jasper a model? Or something to do with when Alice still worked in fashion? That's what I just realized. Maybe that's why he knows designers, because the only other option would be he's probably gay. Because gay men know designers, straight men don't. OH YA! ALSO... was that thing about answering a toddler's phone Katt Williams? lol. Because I know I've heard it before, and I think that's where it's from. Or else it was a meme. : I'm not 100% on either.
