I'm sorry to hear about your dog. I'm a veterinarian and the good news is if the dog is putting weight on the foot, it is highly unlikely that it is broken. Keep an eye on that paw and swelling to make sure it doesn't get any worse. Snake bites are very painful but if it's not a poisonous snake, not much else happens, as long as it doesn't get infected.
