It's sweet that Wisp called Esme mother and refused to leave Edward. It sucks that she got so sick that she is going to need to go to the hospital but at least now they know her name. I wonder if they will start calling her Isabella or Bella, I sorta feel that she may freak out if they try. But having her name should help to fine out more about her and her past.

I almost wonder if it could be a good thing for Edward to seek the grant Dr. Lawton is striving for... simply because, if done right, it could allow him the support of professionals while keeping the power of her care in his hands... and negate any effort on her part to do the same.
Of course, maybe it wouldn't really work that way... I shudder to think about how her sexual conditioning would appeal to any marginally questionable characters who learned of it. She could too easily be taken advantage of. That, in and of itself, suggests her story is better kept from public knowledge.

Outstanding! Getting inside Wisp's head allows us to see she is smart, she can speak more than they know, she is a survivor and has learned painfully how to do so. Edward's illness may just give them some insight into this. They will know now that Wisp tried to care for him, watched over him, and looked after Pet. Stunningly good chapter!

Very interesting! When they were talking about how to encourage Wisp to draw Gerandy, I couldn't help but think about connecting the idea with the pair of James' pictures she's already seen: one of just him, then one of him behind bars (which has that sense of finality and justice suggested in it). If they showed her that, then right under the first put the picture she drew of Gerandy... and perhaps a fourth picture of an empty cell (or no picture at all) showing her what they wanted to do with him, would that help her understand?
Of course, this bible discovery is a lot more impressive. It's really fascinating! I bet they'll be able to communicate with her very effectively this way... Really neat!

This is one of the very best stories I have ever read. Please do not stop wrighting this story! Wisp is such a beautiful charictor and this Edward is amazing.
