Another great chapter. I knew the gossip would start the minute Edward was gone and Bella has handled herself with grace (as we knew she would). I'm glad to hear that Carlisle sees the strength and intelligence that makes Bella who she is. Also that he thinks enough of her to know that she will be a strength at Edward's side when he is king. Bella's insecurities about that are due to how her father treated her opinion and she will see, when Edward gets back, that he already wishes for her to step up as a ruler at his side and not sitting in the background.
Anyway, I hope your personal life turns for the better for you. Can't wait for the next chapter.

poor emmett..i felt so bad for him that his rosalie hasn't come along yet. i hope he'll be able to find her soon. he's had to deal with such a difficult life, his parents' decisions making others think less of him and treat him badly... i'm glad that here in england people are respecting him more but he still is an odd wheel to all the loving couples there.

The upcoming life at court will probably be a rollercoaster of emotions for both, Edward and Bella. It seems, that his previous conquests will roughen the life of them, especially with Tanya in the picture. But it appears, that she (Tanya) was a little desillusioned that she could become the Queen of England.
The secret code was a great idea. So they can always connect in a way without everyone else to know. So sweet.

Well, I'm shocked by Edward having to get rid of soooo many ladies in the court and in service. His comment about Lady Tanya wanting to be queen baffled me. ahhh, great chapter- I guess we had to know Edward's past conquests would come back to bite him in the backside. So I am guessing there will be Drama from Tanya at least if not a few others. Please lets not have any illegitamate children from those conquests, esp Tanya. I think Bella may have her work cut out for herself with those ladies. Those who persieve themselves as better matched for Edward and are cunning enough (*cough*Tanya*cough*) could do anything from spreading rumors to attempting assassination attempts to remove her.
