Wow -- I was only looking for something new to sink my teeth into when your banner caught my eye!!! Love the banner!!!
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this quick read. I don't usually read drabbles but I am so glad that I took the time this morning. I must also tell you that JA Mash's graphics in each chapter were absolutely perfect. Simply nailed!!!
Love a good Beachward. I don't believe there are enough in our fandom. But who am I to say -- just one of my many preferences. :D
The story was very well written. Sometimes, for me, the electricity between 2 characters is more powerful than the actual lemon. You captured that perfectly. Both their stories are so sad yet they get a happy ending. I was surprised at Carlisle's character. This is my first fic where he is gay! Those two chapters about him made me draw my breath in. When I read he turned off the engine my heart was in my throat and the word "tortured" came to mind!!! I have several gay and lesbian friends and I feel after reading this that perhaps I haven't looked at life from their perspective. So much food for thought here.
