I'm still puzzled as to the white haired man's identity. I initially thought it could have been Bella's father, Charlie. Bella thinks he is dead but I think he was saved by Carlisle due to Aro's friendship. But there are so many reasons why that wouldn't work. The Volturi, his employer, were the ones to take him out, I think.
