What I'm up to...
I'm always writing. I promise that I have not forgotten my Charlie/Renee fic Separate Ways. I'm taking my time to get it right. I also want to be ahead a few chapters before I start posting. You all know how much I love the character Charlie so I could never abandon him. His story needs to be told.
TheSpoiltOne has dragged me into the world of Harry Potter. I must say that I'm having a blast. TSO is so much fun to write with and Draco is a fun character. I think I'll like writing him as much as I like writing Edward and Charlie
My Bio
What to say about me? Well I'm 40 something and happily married to the love of my life. We have been married for 26 years. I can not believe he has put up with me for that long. We have two wonderful sons.
Fanfiction has become a huge part of my life. I started reading it in June of 2008. I was in desperate need of something to fill the void while waiting for Breaking Dawn to come out. I was amazed at how talented the writers in this fandom are.
A dear friend of mine encouraged me to start writing. I am so glad he did. I wrote the Prologue and first chapter of My Sacrifice August of 2008. I agonized over posting them. I finally broke down, found a beta, and started posting My Sacrifice in October 2008. I was shocked that people actually liked it. Now I have a two complete stories and about five one shots.
My beta is Birdee18. She is awesome. My stories would be a mess if it was not for her amazing red pen. She has become a dear friend. I loved reading her stories and just asked her to look over my prologue and let me know what she thought about it and if she could suggest a beta for me. Bella Swan works as a nurse at Cook County Hospital in the ER. She's older and desperate for love. It's hindered by her shy personality and plump body. Her father, whom she lives with, teases her relentlessly for being fat and single.
Edward Cullen, thirty-three, is hired as a doctor in the ER. He's getting over a divorce. He moved to Chicago to be closer to his family: sister, Rosalie, and brother, Jasper. Rosalie is younger than Edward by ten years and is struggling with an eating disorder brought on by a heinous rape of her ex-boyfriend. Jasper, twenty-seven, is finishing up his doctorate in history.
Bella is charmed by this new doctor in the ER. He's kind and thinks about his patients and maintains a friendly rapport with the nurses and orderlies. Edward is intrigued by the sad nurse who does her job efficiently but doesn't have a sparkle in her eyes.
Will she allow Dr. Cullen into her life or will she let her insecurities get in the way of her happiness. Perhaps, Dr. Feelgood can write her a prescription. A prescription for love...

*Swoon* Every plus-sized girl needs a Dr. Feelgood. It's tough not being a stick-thin woman and how you have Edward handle Bella and her low self-esteem just brings tears to my eyes.
I can't wait for Rose to meet Bella and see how that goes. They could definitely benefit from each other.

Edward and Bella were so cute at the end. I can't wait for Jessica and Lauren to find out about B&E. I know they will probably cause a scene but I want to rub it in their faces. Of course if they are cruel to Bella over it then I can totally see them losing their jobs :)

Aww, yay! Glad you liked it. I wanted Edward to be able to make some romantic gestures without giving things away. And it was important to him that they could be "out" about the relationship in that way at least.
Well, what they say about cheating is true. Heidi didn't cheat because Edward wasn't wonderful, she cheated because she's a deeply unhappy woman.

I have never read a True Blood Fic. I saw this one on FB and decided to start with it. I totally hated the way TB ended so I'm very interested to see what you have in store for Sookie and Eric. I've always wanted them together :) This was a good start and looks very promising.
