First:  Thank you!!

Second:  I agree:  I'll always have a love/hate thing going on with True Blood.  They gave us Godric, but then...THEY KILLED HIM!  Ugh.  But at least he's all alive and well in our minds! 

Third: I also agree.  There aren't that many Godric stories out there, and unfortunately, many of the ones that DO exist try to portray him as some heartless Dom bastard or some asshole who couldn't give a shit less about the poor Sookie/whoever victim he's set his selfish sights on.  I can't see him that way.  To me, he's lived well and long enough to know BETTER than to try to go around raping and dom'ing and being such a jackhole about turning people whether they want it or not, etc.

Forth:  The Godric in Anticipating is really IS a different kind of Godric to the one in Decisions - he's a lot more laid back, patient..."contained", while my Decisions Godric is more feral, a bit looser-bound, more reactionary and "in  your face".  I wanted a change of pace after writing Ant, and boy, I think I got it!  :D

And thank you for the compliment about the lemons - I'll never throw in sex scenes just for sensationalism - they'll always serve a plot point - but...no matter how well they serve the plot, they're STILL nerve-wracking to write, lol.

Is it bad that I giggle (quietly) with pride when I read a review telling me that I've changed someone's mind about (my) Andre?  I'm actually a bit overwhelmed by the love I've gotten for this story since I really hadn't expected much support for it at all since it IS about Andre....THAT Andre...!  :D

I'm actually working on an update right now - things are about to get more complicated for him and his Emma!
