She probably shouldn't, but she's a masochist and they can't always help themselves. I have a feeling Edward being around is going to help her get past some of her demons, though.

The story begins six months after Edward left Bella in the forest, but unfortunately things have taken a darker turn than our beloved SM wrote. This is the tale of how Edward and Bella eventually find their way back to each other, although it is a difficult road traveled. There will not be any reference to the events in Eclipse or BD.
Rating: NC-17 is for lemons sometime down the road!

I hated that Edward left Bella in NM and although I am a huge Edward fan I really wanted to kick his ass for being so immature and self centred. I was also angry that the Cullens' left Bella - especially Alice!
So glad that in your story Carlisle went back to look for Bella to make sure that she is alright.
