Found the story yesterday and have to say interesting. This whole aging backwards is a nice twist to the original Twilight plot, there Bella was described as extreme mature for her age, whereas you have a real old woman in a young body.
Hope Edward will finally man up and accept what he and Bella both want.

Great chapter!
I absolutely enjoyed reading it. Am I weird because I think the chapter ending was hot? But if Edward weren't a vampire it would have been a bit gross, don't you think? And poor Bella, even her teacher wanted to jump her.
And I adored the interaction between Emmett an the little girl Annabel, it would be nice to see her again in a future chapter. And how Carlisle let the nasty nurse have it for her poor medical and social skills. Papa Vamp at his best. :)
The blood donation center scene raised some questions for me in regard to the vampire society. I mean there are vamps out there like the Cullens, the Swans and Ben who like/respect humans, but for some reason, there seems to be only the other kind working at the centers. And vampires are full of this whole dominant, alpha male, survival of the fittest crab, is it possible that all the weaker ones like to surround themselves with humans because they(the humans) are even weaker than they are? That would at least explain their reaction to the Cullen men.

As for bad vamps working at blood donation centers, yes, most vamp are mean, cruel anti- human. But there are some nice ones out there like you mentioned. However, I've only covered one donation center so far. But there are nice vamps at some of blood banks, just haven't mentioned them yet.
The Cullen men are quite intimidating. They're taller, fiercer, and they radiate this confidence. They can be quite menacing when they walk in. And most know the legend of the Ultimate Vamp. It's survival of the fittest. The strongest are feared and most respected, but of course you have jerk vamps like Mike Netwon who didn't give a crap for the most part. Other vamps can sense who is strong or who is weaker. But some like a good ol' challenge like James. lol

I really enjoyed reading your story. Although I'm a bit sad that it is so short. I think the world you created has great potential for more.
That vampires were created by science is an interesting twist, I think I have seen something like that before in a movie, too bad that I don't remember the title.
I simply loved that Kenna named her baby after her dead friend and how you described Maya's reactions to the baby was quite touching in a sad way. The poor woman. At least she has Alex now.

But it was one of the critirias for writing for the challenge, max 20.000 words and mine was 19.500 or something. I wish you remembered the title of the movie, as I would like to see that twist on this genre of bloodsuckers. I was a little worried people would think my take on Maya was delusional, especially the moment where she gets confused and tries to feed the baby. but in my world, that is something a traumatized woman might get confused and actually do in my world.
