great chapter, is it me or does 6 wks seem early to go back to work? i took 6 months off and only then went back cause my matt pay was running out, but i suspose it's different for each mother and whenever you go back alices feeling are typical imagining dreadful scenarios anf being racked with guilt then you get home to a happy smiley baby and you wonder what the hell you were worried about, i wonder if jasper is a bit lost at work as he and edward worked so closley for so long? thanks tracy

Thank you. I know it typically depends on matternity leave here but usually about 6-8 weeks is offered.

great chapter, no i think they were correct to not tell her about alexs attack she is still having nighmares over jacob, with a memory and brain that will not work properly i can see the sense in passing over nasty news in order to help restore good memories if she never remembers that would that be so bad? bella seems to be quite comfortable with her relationship status now so her parents and all the others indulging the same should not phase her and its positive news that everybody is happy about so i think bella will be ok, thanks tracy

oh poor bella she is really distraught but at least she is talking about it she needs some help to realise losing six months is a small price to pay that drunk could have killed her mentally impared her or crippled her for life any number of horrible things or even lose the baby, maybe a therapist would be a good idea just a better one than before, loved the flashback of when they first met and their teenage years thanks tracy

oh my, i actually got a bit teary when i read the letter and what her mum and esme had done i should have said last chapter that was a good thing they did holding bella hand as they got the scan done etc, and now bella has physical evidence of those things instead of a memory, and she wants to see the boke who crashed into them is that a wise choice? i'm not sure thanks tracy
