Following the Nevada takeover, Sookie has had little contact from any vampires, including Eric.  She wants Eric, but is confused by her feelings so she does what she does best.  She avoids it.  Soon, as always someone is out to get her.  Will Eric save the day once again?

This is a Dead and Gone Alternative, written before D&G was released, but somewhat based on rumors of D&G.  Spoilers for all books, Gift Wrap short story, and the first chapter of D&G that was posted on CH's website.  This was my first fanfiction and my first writing in a very long time.
