World War II Navy Pilot Edward meets shy wallflower Bella at a USO dance and starts to fall in love immediately. Two weeks and a wedding later, they face separation as Edward ships off to the Eastern Front. How will Bella handle life back in the states while Edward fights for their country abroad? Will the letters they exchange be enough to help them get through the painful separation?

Can't wait to have them together... My thoughts are with Jasper and Emmett now though. When will they be home?!? I know the end of the war is reasonable close... but danger every step of the way.
Can't wait for the next bunch of chapters even if it means the end... I am greedy that way... but will regret it when there are no more.

Another great chapter to go with another beautiful story...with any luck King Charles will redeem himself somewhere along the way and show that he truly loved Bella... but had his reasons for behaving toward her the way he did.... Maybe? Please? I hate to hate Charlie!

:) Next chapter you'll understand a little more. He's still a chauvenist pig much like most men of the day, but his reasons aren't all bad. You don't feel quite so much like he's an unfeeling devil, just an emotionally stunted man that doesn't know how to interact with his daughter.
