How could anyone find him amusing?  Oh well, I find him just exremely creepy.  But I am happy to know that Edward's parents have a loving relationship that seems to be as normal as possible, given the circumstances.  And I know that Edward will be as normal as possible with her too, after Aro gets through with her...

I am glad that she already feels a warm connection with Edward, and he with her.  Aro is a sicko, however!

Good progress, but of course I still need more!  Edward has become aware, but hasn't caught on yet that Carlisle and Esme are on his side.  At least, I think they are ready to break rules and really break loose, on the very brink for sure.

I am glad to see you back and to get some further developments in this story.  I am glad that Felix seems to want to get more people out, little by little.  I am sure that Carlisle and Esme won't want to leave without Alice and Jasper both.  It will take a little time.

So, the plot thickens, but we still need to know about Bella and Victoria!  Poor Edward must be beside himself!!

James has finally met the sadistic fuckers who are more unfeeling than he is, if that is even possible!  And they will make sure that he never hurts anyone else, ever again.

Thank you for posting this chapter.  I really appreciate your story--I love seeing Edward and Bella's love unfold, even against all their obstacles.  But Carlisle is still filling me with dread.  Maybe Edward's memory of Bella's birthday so long ago and the exra interest Carlisle took in her will help him to see Carlisle's unhealthy interest in her now.  Bella will have to tell him soon, or Carlisle will have to betray his interest soon.  One or the other, the showdown is coming up...

That is awful and I hope for another chapter soon! 

Poor Bella and Esme.  Poor Edward, too.  He has been trying so hard, first to change and grow for Bella (and Esme), then to protect Bella from Carlisle, Marcus and Demetri.  He is just waiting and working to get himself and Bella into their own home, free from Carlisle's interference.  Although, as long as they are there in the family compound, they will not be free of Carlisle's influence and malevolence.  It would be really nice if Edward and Bella could go live in Bella's house in Phoenix for a few years, where Bella could go to school and Edward could work as a doctor.

Thank you for your story, I have enjoyed reading it.  Yes, enjoyed, not the brutal parts, of course, but the loving and the truthful parts.  Control comes in many forms and is often unrecognized by both the controller and the controllee, because they call it other names and rationalize it away.  So I understood your story of extreme control as a way to really see the domination for what it is.  But as Edward peeled back the control, he did find that there were nuances that needed to be examined as well. 

I am so glad that they have been able to get past the abusive control and refind each other, because there was always real love and caring there, even when it was hidden.  I am looking forward to your epilogue.

Thanks for the heads up originally, that you had been posting on TWCS, because I knew where to find it!  FFn is sometimes problematic, although it is the easiest thing to use and find new things.

Anyway, I enjoyed the chapter, and really appreciate Bella's breastfeeding issues as a former breastfeeding mother myself!  Good for Esme and the Cullens for standing up for what is right.

Now how could he conclude a thing like that?  Well, I can understand not being able to slow it down, because they are getting very hot and heavy.  But turning it into a real relationship?  Maybe it is just too fast, and they do have complicated lives already...

Too sweet!  But how could she just go home?  I am sure I couldn't...

I'll admit to reading this with tears in my eyes; very, very touching.  As usual I love their banter, but even more their willingness to be open and honest with each other.  If Bella calls him on his bullshit, he settles down and deals with it.

And to meet his father and grandfather after all this time, and to feel the love and acceptance, is just wonderful.  This for the guy who thought he wasn't worth loving.  And to have a family heirloom ring for Bella--life is really changing.  I just wonder what Carlisle asked for!

And I can't wait to see more!  Yes, I'm insatiable.  So hugs to you, ABG!!
