I'm a 38 year old mother of two beautiful children and happily unmarried to their father and the love of my life. I began reading, then writing fanfiction about four years ago when I started looking after my grandmother who broke her hip. I was housebound and it was the perfect escapism.
I love to get PM's from my readers and have made many wonderful friends in the fandom this way. This community has done wonders for my self confidence and realization of the dream to become a writer.

In an alternate all human universe, where society reached modern times with the equivalent to an Ancient Roman appearance and level of technology, sexual pleasure is paramount; the Cullens are a breed apart: sexual vegetarians, if you will.

This story is a thinly disguised excuse for steamy lemons in the vein of a Roman orgy, yet there is also a deeper story about selfless giving and how love might just be worth waiting for...and fighting for.

What a glorious chapter dosed heavily with the lemons we love to read from you Di. The poetry was such a lovely touch in the scenes with Carlisle and Esme. I love the line - "A burden becomes light when it is carried willingly." So beautiful - I am using this quotation!
Twiliteaddict's scene with Carlisle and Esme was picture perfect, and a genius way to plant the seed within Bella that monogamous love is possible and so much more satisfying.

I had orriginally asked TA to do it as an outtake, but then it fit in so brillliantly, I knew it had to go in the main story. I'm glad you found it as lovely a way to help Bella through her confusion.
