IIIIII... evil cliffhanger! I was just waiting for James to show up, and only Edward there to face him. But , regardless of how terrified Bella and Victoria are of him, perhaps they will find the strenght to fight back this time. That would give them back a bit of the control over their own lives, which James robbed from them. And Bella now has Edward as well, she love him and will fight to keep him safe.

Wasn't Jasper following her, so how did he not inform Edward Bella went to the strip club? Edward will kill Jasper for this. Finally Edward is showing some signs of being a sentient human being, I had almost given up on him.

It's improbable to the point of ludicrous that Edward didn't recognize Bella. He was sitting opposite to her, talking to her! Her face and voice doesn't change even if her hair and dress are different. On top of it Edward talks to her later when she's packing stuff in her truck, certainly she hasn't changed her clothes or hairdo? I can believe he might not notice her doing groceries, but this in my opinion is beyond believable, your beta or prereader should have pointed this out. Also Bella should have recognized his voice if not his face behind the Santa mask.

Kinda guessed Bella would be related to the kids as Corrine looks like her, but sister was unexpected. Edward should insist Bella borrows money from the kids to buy out Black.

Again a new story, you ladies are incredible prolific! A couple of comments on the first chapter: It's hardly a coincidence that Edward's in the same elevator as Bella 4 out of 6 mornings (do they actually work 6 day weeks)? He's probably attracted to her but is fighting it due to the age difference, therefore being as obnoxious as possible to her.

Esme now - she goes under the name Masen and runs the diner. Who is then the Mrs Cullen Bella impersonated on the phone? My first thought was that Esme is actually Mrs Cullen and for some reason is running the diner incognito (she did seem quite familiar with Edward), but that would imply that Bella had the balls to impersonate someone she's never even met, her boss's boss's mother on top of it? Does not seem credible, so therefore I'll assume we have yet to meet Mrs Cullen (and Mr Cullen senior), and that Bella is fairly well acquainted with her (again, how otherwise would she dare impersonate her).

Have to say that so far this is one of the most unpleasant Edwards I've ever read, hopefully Bella will keep him on a short leash until his manners improve!
