"Now we're even." DOM Edward shows his beloved Bella the control he has over her. She's not injured, she'll live, just another lesson learned. I think Heather, Office Hawk, and James are involved somehow. Shenanigans are running a muck at New Moon Club. They all got some type of beef with Edward. Caius, Tanya, and Mike are suspects in breaking into the house. I really hate to admit this, but I don't even trust Aro. Jane is the best, BUT wouldn't Aro want to trade Jane in on a new younger sub, say Bella?...It's a man thing! I'm just saying. Please take care of yourself, feel better and Happy New Year.

I should have expected that she would have a nightmare, the trauma of having our home invaded was enough to unnerve me, I can only guess what memories it stirred in her. Removing my shirt that was full of tears and dirty from her nose I laid back down with her head on my chest. “We’ll change the locks tomorrow and figure out who it was, that will make you feel safer. It was just a dream Bella, I swear I would die before I let anyone hurt you.”
“Don’t say that!”
I wasn’t sure what she was talking about when she abruptly shot her head up to look at me. “I couldn’t stand it if something happened to you. I couldn’t take it”
Even in the darkness of the room I could see the fierceness in Bella’s eyes as the tears fell down her face. “Nothing is going to happen to me, and nothing is going to happen to you. Now stop with the tears and lets go back to sleep”
Cupping her face my thumb wiped away the tears as she nuzzled her cheek against my palm before turning her head to placing a soft kiss in the center of my hand. “Do you think I’m crazy?”
“No…” why the hell would I think that?
“…I think it was a stressful night and I think you have a lot on your mind and have dealt with more in your life then any one person should have to deal with. I told you before baby, I think you are the strongest person I know; a lesser person would have called it quits a long time ago. Now let’s go back to sleep, I have a promise to keep to a dog”

“Hey” my thoughts had taken over my attention so much that Edward’s voice startled me causing me to flinch.
“I’m sorry babe…” he chuckled “…I didn’t mean to scare you” My eyes moved towards his they were warm and bright making me smile.
“It’s ok. Where have you been?” Edward sighed
“Ahhh…well while some of us get to lay around in the tub others leave the dog out, hang up their clothes and talk to irate fathers from Forks” the auditable gasp left my throat and I couldn’t mask the horror in my voice.
“You talked to Charlie?”
“Hmm...Yes I did” Edward sat down on the floor with his back against the wall of the tub pulling the cork out of a bottle of wine that I didn’t see he had.

Picking up the first box I actually grunted because it was heavier than I thought it would be. After putting it on the table I turned around to see Bella carrying another one of the boxes.
“Isabella what are you doing?” I asked her while taking the box from her hand then realized the one she had was heavier then the first.
“I was carri…” I cut her off before she could finish
“I thought you had a fifteen pound weight limit”
“I do…” I stared at her in bewilderment

“It’s just the food” I told him as he followed me to the door barking the whole time “Seth!” I admonished while shutting down the alarm and opening the door to a very stunned Irena.
“Since when do you have a dog Edward?”
I didn’t respond to her question instead sighing heavily “What can I do for you Irena?”

Hesitantly I moved to the side to allow her entrance locking the door but leaving the alarm off, I wasn’t taking any chances. She stood in my living room watching Seth as he sat by my feet.
“I never thought you to be a dog lover” The sweetness in her voice confused me because the last time we spoke it was anything but friendly. That was the day she and Caius attacked Bella for which I found their actions deplorable.
“Cut the crap Irena why are you here?” My tone was rude but she deserved it and I didn’t trust her.

Very insightful chapter. Edwards POV was on point. Bella absolutely had to be taught obedience. Edward was pulling into the parking lot that was across the street from the main entrance. He didn’t say anything else until he held my door open for me taking my hand and pulling me closer to him. “I am sorry about my behavior”
I smiled at him “You girl forgives you”
His face moved closer to mine as he spoke “My girl is more tolerant then I deserve”
“Never” as I said the word his lips brushed against mine, it was a sweet chaste kiss. When he pulled back his eyes held a tenderness in them as he palmed the side of my face.

“About what?” she truly didn’t know what I meant, so I held up her arm. Bella’s face fell “Oh”
I kept staring at her while she sat back down in her seat, waiting for her to start talking. Whatever happened she didn’t want to tell me, but I wasn’t giving her a choice I wanted, no I needed to know. Finally she sighed and started talking.

Those on the outside who don't approve are going to ostracize you, and make snide comments that can be hurtful...tear...sniff. I love the entire chapter. Taking another drink of coffee I didn’t say anything, but that was twice now that something was not put on the calendar. The lunch with Jane yesterday- which I found out about accidentally - that was ultimately cancelled and now the waxing, I guess my submissive will have some explaining to do. But at the moment I thought of something else.
“If you are waxing have them remove the remaining patch of hair” Bella’s hand stopped mid-way to her mouth as she just stared at me and I wondered what had caused the reaction I was getting.
“W..Why? You said I could keep it”
Taking a drink of coffee I thought over my words to her on the subject “If I remember correctly I said you could keep it for the time-being but I would like it gone now”

Devastation is the only word that came to my mind when she looked into my eyes “I know this is really stupid, but can I please keep it until next time?”
