Hmmm, I don't feel that you should have to justify yourself like that in the ending notes of this chapter. The fact that things aren't perfect for this is precisely the reason WHY I like this story. Yes, stories that are sweet and nothing ever goes wrong with the fantasy are great, but I love stories that are "real". Showing that something horrible can occurr and they can overcome it is a good thing. They get frustrating at times, but it works. I'm happy to see Bella recovering and her being able to stand. That's amazing! Thanks for sharing!

Well, I am glad that the start of the chapter they are at least on the same page. It sucks that she can't feel him, though. That's a bit depressing. Bella has every right to be pissed off and HATE Esme and Carlisle and I can't blame her at all. I know she's scared and upset and I get that. It's understandable. I'm happy that she did go see Angela and Ben's baby. That they named the baby after her father and Charlotte, that's the sweetest thing and the fact they want Edward and Bella to be the Godparents, that's very nice and thoughtful of them. I really hope that they accept. And I'm ecstatic that Bella's got some feeling in her toes! Things are looking up there! I hope the progress continues and she's not permanently paralyzed. Wow, that's a horrible thing that Seth did to Garrett. I'm glad that they've gotten over it. I know Seth will never forgive himself for it, but at least, he's able to still have his friend and will never do something like that again.
I'm happy that Bella's finally sharing her feelings with Edward and that she wants to adopt Evan. I think that will be good for both of them. It's something they need, but I'd like to see Bella make some progress before that happens. She really has a lot that needs to come together before she's in a place where it's beneficial for her to adopt him.

Hmmm, not really sure with this one. It's like a transition chapter, I think. Bella really needed to have that confrontation with Alice, Jasper, Rose, and Emmett. I'm a little shocked to learn some of their background info, especially Rosalie. And I'm not surprised that Edward's anxious about adopting Evan and is worried about it. In regards to the flashback, I actually kind of like it. I think what they did with "that" house is awesome. I would so pull the same kind of stunt. I feel bad for them that the new house wasn't really working for them. I would like to see it become a positive place for them, eventually, though. And I'm glad that Edward has realized he wasn't there for Bella and wants to change that. It's a start. thanks for sharing!

Edward Cullen, thirty-three, is hired as a doctor in the ER. He's getting over a divorce. He moved to Chicago to be closer to his family: sister, Rosalie, and brother, Jasper. Rosalie is younger than Edward by ten years and is struggling with an eating disorder brought on by a heinous rape of her ex-boyfriend. Jasper, twenty-seven, is finishing up his doctorate in history.
Bella is charmed by this new doctor in the ER. He's kind and thinks about his patients and maintains a friendly rapport with the nurses and orderlies. Edward is intrigued by the sad nurse who does her job efficiently but doesn't have a sparkle in her eyes.
Will she allow Dr. Cullen into her life or will she let her insecurities get in the way of her happiness. Perhaps, Dr. Feelgood can write her a prescription. A prescription for love...

Edward's remark of "give my ticket to a bum"...wow, harsh, but deserved. Also proud of Bella's progress, especially where both Jacob and Charlie are concerned. I can see a future where Bella and Jacob have it out in the middle of the ER. He's certainly a Class A Prick as you stated. And Charlie...WTF?! How the hell did he get out?! Somebody paid his bail. Not sure who....MAYBE Sam....or is he friends with the Class A Prick's father...and the only reason besides his legal troubles that he agreed to work at County was to keep tabs on Bella and report back to Charlie and make her life a living hell? I highly suspect the Blacks have something to do with Charlie's release.....Thanks for sharing!

I love the lightness of that scene and seeing Emmett blow raspberries on Edward's cheek is sweet. So different than anything else that I've read. And I love how sensitive Edward is. It's nice to see him finally tell Emmett what's been going on and why he is the way he is.
The scene in Rio is fun. Em on the dance floor looking the way he does is hilarious. Thanks for sharing!

Well, for starters, that was a nice wake up she got. I am really disappointed that we didn't get to see Edward's familys reaction to the engagement news. I LOVE the idea that Edward scheduled it in, especially before telling his family that she said yes. I would have LOVED to see the family's reaction to seeing it scheduled in the events. Alice and I imagine Esme, would have practically bowled them over after seeing it pop up. Carlisle...OMG what a colossal freaking douchebag. I wanted to punch him, too! I am not sure I like the idea of them separating for a while, but I totally get it and understand why it's needed. Perhaps, Alice can come visit for a while, hmmm? Help with wedding stuff? Man, Charlie did not take to them moving to the Island very well, did he? I do like that he came back and apologized and the fact that he stopped in the middle of the street and left the car to come apologize, it's goofy, but totally sweet and I love it!
I'm sorry that you're suffering with writer's block. It's absolutely no fun and the more you write, the more it will flow. Yes, I know you're rolling your eyes or think I'm stupid, but it's what all my friends tell me when I'm stuck and I write dramatically less than you do. (Normally I write under 2k words in a chapter). Don't feel bad this chapter did not go as long as you wanted or anything. I like this chapter as is and I think that it ends in a good place. Lots of stuff going on, so when you get a chance and can come back to it, it should help ideas flow.
