Ok, really.  I'm ready for Bella to gut Edward in his sleep.  A-okay with that. :)

The beginning of the story was...well, you know.  The middle made me angry.  So many men in this world still see women as objects, and dismiss their feeling, thoughts and needs.  Too many men are abusive.  When reading this, it really brought out the subtleties of treating women as 'less than'.

I think most women can recall some times in their lives when they've had experiences that made them feel like something was wrong.

I loved that Bella told Edward to let her go!  I was surprised and elated. This is probably the only E/B story where I could have accepted if Bella would have left and never came back.

I would have liked to have known more about the 'Edward, five years later'.

I thought you said something about and Esme outtake.  I didn't see it.  Did you write one.  In my mind, Esme scattered his ashes throughout the gardens so Carlisle would finally contribute some nurturing-in the form of fertilizer.

There are a few points that I wasn't really happy about at first, but I think you worked them quite well.  Getting therapy was #1.  I read stories where abuse has taken place, and people miraculously overcome them.  I commend you for adding that bit.  I know the stories I read are fiction, but I personally feel that when it comes to things like abuse, an author should take five minutes and do a little research, and at the very least, suggest that help is there for women.  THANK YOU.

Your story was amazingly well written.  It had a nice flow, didn't go off on unrelated and unnecessary offshoots.  It was smartly written, and I don't believe you cow-towed to people's opinions.  

I wished that Charlie and James had not been related to Bella, and that the abuse scenes were less descriptive (I know, I read the warnings, just giving you my wish list). 

Please give my Lillie Cullen a big old "Job well done!" for me.  'Cause, really, she's outstanding.  I freaking hate punctuation when I'm writing, but when I'm reading, errors scream out at me! (They are really loud, too)

I'm enjoying your story so much.  I'm really glad that when it comes to the bad things, you don't go into a whole lot of detail-so far, at least.  I like reading stories of courage and hope, but don't want to stay up all night thinking about horrid things, even if they are fiction.  I get it when there's a mention of tragedy, I don't want the blow by blow.
