Thank you thank you thank you for this update.  After days of rain and a loooong day at work, this was the perfect remedy yet again.  I missed schioward's inner dialogue in the last chapter; so glad he made a comeback here -- and I was actually thinking in my own head last chapter that of course this is when his inner "demon"(?) disappears -- and then you wrote it.

I laughed...then felt badly for Charlie, but the end was perfect.  In.Fucking (yes I'll say it -it's a good word).Credible

I know I keep complimenting your ability to jump into POVs, but what I find most impressive about it is the way in which you capture the character each and every time.  Not an easy feat!!!!  Another incredible job!  (aren't you tired of me telling you that yet?)

How did you do?!?!?  UnBELIEVABle chapter.  This gets more and more complex and better and better.

Even with the tense situation, the Jacob inner monologue and conversations with both Esme (and Alice...although that was more of a tirade rather than a convo) were so amusing.

Edward seems so broken and desolate, don't get me started on poor Charlie, and even Jake.  I love that he isn't getting all wolfie on the Cullens.  Another absolutely INCREDIBLE chapter.

OK, Woman, it's on.  Do you want to know what is significantly worse than spewing coffee all over the computer monitor?  Try snorting Life cereal through your nose...which is what my response was to your author's note.  That is actually why I didn't review yesterday when this posted; I had to learn how to rebreathe properly.  I guess what they say about payback is true.

This chapter was like a warm hug.  In the midst of all of the suspense and tension, this was a well-needed respite.  It AMAZES me that you say you are not a writer; this story is so organic, so natural; it's clear you have a natural talent.

The sexual tension is beginning to build.  ;-)  I cannot wait until the end of the week as I hope for the next chapter.   I also cannot wait until the usual exuberant Emmett learns that Bella has some kick-ass superpowers.  That should be fun!  ...but Aro is still looming in the background.  Grrrrr....

I needed to step away from this chapter before leaving a review...and the intensity of the events here are completely blocking my ability (or desire) to leave a snarky comment as usual...

I seriously hope Bella can channel the "talents" of the vamps around her so that if and when she encounters Jane she can administer some of that pain back onto that bitch and company!  Poor Renee!  Very, very twisted Volturi - but you just amped up the tension and suspense to the red zone.

...and if Bella can en"vision" this in her head, I think Jasper will have to work overtime.  You evil writer, you, leaving us with this HUGE cliffie!!!!!  Seriously, though, this chapter must have been difficult for you to write.  Well done.

Wow...quite the explanation.  And for Renee to report she was abducted by aliens...how utterly perfect.

Edward is going to need a titanium baseball bat covered with wolf essence to keep the other vampires from Bella -- seriously, how many of these deviant vamps are running around in your twisted (and talented) head?!?!?!

Thank you for the brief tender moment between E &B in the midst of all the angst  - I love the bond that you have created for them...and for Bella with the rest of the Cullen fam.  This was so worth 6 repostings :-)

I love that you threw Edward's line from Twilight (I just want to try something) back at him here! 

No hate mail here...I just wanted their first kiss, and thank you for granting me my wish!  It would have made no sense for them to go any further; I'm not even sure they've had a conversation of any length yet!  Obviously they are strongly bonded & attached to one another, but given Bella's recent injuries and what is happening with Renee, it would have been too soon and too inappropriate.  I love that you made the decision you did.

I hope (pretty please) that we will get Edward's take on the meadow moment; I love when you write from his pov!

...and, although I support your decision, you might want to get pixie-sized armor for Alice if she continues to block them at every pass :-)

I'm glad you finally got this to post.

It took me a moment to figure out the "M" POV and then I was thrilled to realize it was Marcus.  His story is so sad in the novels and you absolutely captured his pain.  I'm hoping this will be a little happy forshadowing for us -- his animosity towards his "brothers" and his powerfully tragic loss of his beloved Didyme will hopefully make him an ally of the obviously bonded / mated Bella and Edward. 

And despite the emotional (and physical) pain Bella is in, it was great to see her get a cuddle moment with Edward.  Yummmmm.  The death of Philip was quite well deserved and makes complete sense now.  Somehow, the thought of Bella weilding a machete and chasing him down didn't ring true in my head (although, he would have deserved a castration for what he has done to her)so using her shield to kill him is more logical :-)

However, my favorite part of the chapter was Carlisle's time with Esme.  Actually my favorite favorite part was Esme getting all Mamma-Bear about her cubs.

Absolutely awesome.

First, if I wasn't in such a rush this morning, I would have commented on James.  While he is absolutely vile, there is something quite subtly humorous in his "voice."  The nicknames (especially pretty boy) amused me to no end...and I love that he got completely blocked out in this chapter.

Goosebumps.  I very literally got goosebumps when I read Edward hearing his mother's words and seeing her in Bella's mind.  So quick and yet so powerful - another testament to your writing ability.

I had thought the green eyes were going to be Edward's somehow - like an angel version of himself or some manifestation of his soul.  This is much better.  Especially for him.  Too wonderful!  For Bella to be the vehicle that he could see his mother one more time?  And to know that she loves him for who he is now (not seeing him as the monster he sees himself as) - just ...Gaaaaahhhhh.  More goosebumps now.  But I guess it beats snorting cereal.

Go Bella!!!  Stand up for yourself and your abilities.  And I love the line-dropping from Breaking Dawn ("Can vampires go into shock?").  Very well placed! 

What an incredible treat - to have 2 chapters in 24 hours.  ssssiiiiiggggghhhhh.  Another great job, Lady!  I cannot wait to see her go all gifty on Emmett's big head!  Show 'em what you got, Bella!

Another absolutely incredible chapter. Once again, the multiple POVs helped to appreciate the plot and tension so much more.

It's completley understandable that Bella got a little "Rambo"-esque on the villains...and really touching that Jasper is feeling guilt about not stopping her sooner.  I'm sure it was very cathartic for her, especially as she can read the vile, violent, and lewd thoughts of James...but I'm certain that she's going to be feeling guilty about that as well since she isn't by nature a vicious or vengeful person.  And I found it even more sad that Jasper was saying it was ok for his vamp-family to do this, alluding to the idea that they are monstrous and therefore allowed to commit acts of evil.  It's so antithetical to what the Cullens are about.  Seriously, Dr. Phil needs to stage a serious intervention to help most of this clan deal with their self-loathing!

LOVED Alice riding in on Jake like a reverse knight(ess?) in shining armor -- I mean, Jimmy Chou shoes and a Prada dress.

LOVED Bella and Edward getting a little steamy in the midst of all of the tension - they are such hormonal teenagers; it's adorable!

LOVED snarky James getting his comeuppance!  And Bella quoting his thoughts back to him?  Brillant. 

???Question, though (and maybe I just missed something since I'm reading this after the h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e. essays I have just graded and my mind's a little mushy) - Edward isn't hurt, is he? not physically?...I hope.....   Is Jasper picking up on him picking up on Bella's emotional pain (if that made any sense at all)?  I didn't quite understand the sudden onslaught of pain and the whimper....or, is this another cliffee and I didn't miss anything....???

I'm sorry you didn't get the number of reviews you set as your goal, but between stressedout & I, our lengthy ones should count double anyway :-)
