I home schooled my children...and we did a unit on Princesses...they decided after that, that being a Princess wasn't all it was cracked up to be!
Being a pawn and used...it made them sad.
You are certainly catching the flavor of that...but have given Bella Jacob...that's so much more than most of the *real* princesses had...makes it easier to read!
