Edward left Bella heartbroken in the woods a year ago. She tried to move on; she goes to college now, goes out with her friends and tries to have fun. But she is still chased by Edward's shadows. During the day she turns to Jacob, becoming what everyone needs her to be. But as night, when she is alone, the shadows find her.
When Edward returns will he be able to help her step out of the shadows and becoming the person she was truly meant to be?

So I just finished "My Happy Ending?" and I was so impressed I went to see what else you had written. I went for this one since you posted the teaser in MHE. I usually don't start reading works in progress but since I found MHE on the recently updated page and you posted about starting this on one of your later chapters I figured you were currently working on it. Then I got to the end of this I went to favorite it and noticed that you haven't updated since 2010! I'm crushed! Please tell me that since you posted something (edits?) to MHE that you're taking this back up!!

Hi! I am going to give this another go, I'm almost done editing the chapters so far, and hope to have another chopter up soon... on both of my stories. I'm not sure why MHE was on the recently updated, I haven't read it since I finished it; I probably should edit it though, it was so long ago that I wrote it! Thanks for reading! Wow- I have to say that this is very different and you do an excellent job of taking us all through Bell's ordeal and how she's slowly succuming to the brainwashing. I am concerned that your last author's note said that this would be both HEA and B&E would end up together in the end. Unless there's one hell of a twist coming, I find that very disturbing. Yes, the whole concept you're working with is dusturbing and that in and of itself isn't a bad thing- it's quite creative and done very well so far. What I mean is the idea that they could end up together- if everything is to be taken at face value- being considered an HEA ending is disturbing. I will definately keep up with this to see how you plan to pull that together. Keep up the good and disturbing work!

I'm really enjoying this story- I think you're doing a great job and I can't wait to read more. So please take this small criticism in the spirit it's intended... Is Sue supposed to be mentally handicapped in some way? First, if you're getting your idea of what New Jersey people sound like from "jersey shore" you should probably know that most of those idiots are not from New Jersey. And they're idiots. Second, in that vain you may want to consider leaving the description that she speaks with a heavy nj accent and leave it to the readers' imaginations instead of spelling the inflections phonetically. Reading the "word" youse over and over was actually painful.
Again, I've been with this story from the beginning and will stay with it till the end but that scene was so jarring to read that I almost skipped it.

You made me laugh. I was in no way offended by your review. I am happy to tell you that I have never watched Jersey Shore nor do I intend to (I like my brain too much for that). I purposefully made Sue a little...strange. Its how she appeared in my head, though she wasn't supposed to come off as mentally handicapped
