Hi K, thank you so much for following me over from the Twilighted site to have a look at this story too. Your reviews and support have been wonderful. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. Apologies that the updates have been a little sporadic :-/
I'm afraid that writer's block is still preventing me from updating my Loving Edward story but hopefully I'll get there one day soon.
As to your comment about having someone to love when I wrote this particular story, I was, in fact, in the throes of a divorce and all my pent up emotion was going on this story. Eventually though, I was lucky enough for my own "Liam" to walk out of the chapters of this novella and into my life. He has not, to date, read my work, but he has already used many of the loving epithets seen here and has overridden my own angst about being a burden to him through chronic ill health.
So, when I wrote of Yolanda's worried notion about running away due to loving someone so much that she didn't want to "ruin" his life, it was very much from the heart. I'd certainly harboured such thoughts about the future. However, my "Liam" won me over and told me not to worry and that we'd have fun together doing simple things. We enjoyed a jaunt out to the coast yesterday (he has just moved in with me) and enjoyed a sunny afternoon by the ocean. Very healing and very much recommended. I've visited arid places such as Arizona/Nevada which have their own beauty, but having lived away from the ocean for 20 years, I'm very glad to be back near it again, after returning to the region of my childhood!

I get a sense of Alice maybe doing a bit of matchmaking for her brother, but Bella should just relax and enjoy dinner.
