"Well, then, I guess there's nothing left to say, is there?" She said in a cold voice.

"Esme, please. I'm not trying to hurt you," Bella replied softly. She had expected this reaction, but it still stung.

"It's a little too late for that now, Bella." Esme stood from her spot behind her desk and silently left the room.

Bella huffed and sat back. "Yeah, so sue me."

Jack looked around the room and then back at his Mom. "How about we make a quick escape."

She cocked her head to the side. "Go on, you've intrigued Mother."    

I know a lot of you get excited for updates and I want you to know that I get just as excited to post it for you, seriously! Your reviews make me smile, laugh and occasionally shed a tear. You guys mean so much to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving this story a chance in the first place!

Also of note, the Fandom for Preemies total has jumped to over $3,ooo raised for the March of Dimes! Freaking phenomenal! To those of who you won't be able to contribute, but still want to read the Jack Outtake, I'll be posting it on FFnet after Christmas sometime.

Tanya sighed. "What happened after we left last night?" 

Emmett's lips quirked, trying to fight a smile. "Mom sucker punched Victoria when she started running her mouth again."

"Esme!" Bella gasped and glanced at Esme, who looked proud of herself. 

"What? She deserved it. I only regret not doing it sooner."

Bella shook her head and tried to hide her giddy smile at the thought of Victoria spread out on the ballroom floor.

I just posted a O/S to my FFnet account called "I'm not that Girl." I'm proud to announce that it won one of the two First Place spots in the Public Vote for the FanFicAddicts Anon 100 Pictures contest!

Also peaking of oneshots, I have another one in the OSS Contest called "Misery Business." It's my second time writing a lemon, so consider it preparing for your Parachute one. ;-) Check it out - vote and leave some love for the authors, even it's not for me!

"What has you smiling so beautifully?" Esme asked curiously, just before the flight attendants announced that they were free to exit the plane.

Bella wasn't sure exactly how to respond. Edward wanted to be the one to sit down and explain his desire to relocate to his parents. Plus, nothing was set in stone, like he himself has said. She decided to go with the partial truth.

"I was just thinking about Jack and Edward. I thought my life was complete with Jack, but Edward adds a whole other dimension. I can't picture our lives without him."

Voting for the Original Character Awards! is open until 12/14! We're up for Most Original Plot as well as Jack for Best Offspring and Best Male! It's going to be super tough against A Rough Start's Anthony, who is one of my fave kids! But, alas, I do love my Jack more!

The music surrounded her, swirling like a tornado. Bella moved her hips and danced along side of Tanya's lithe body as she got lost in the sound.

"Excuse me," a deep voice spoke into her ear. She turned and saw a tall, handsome man smiling down at her.

"Would you care for a dance partner?" he asked.

"No thanks," Bella responded. "I'm fine with my friend."

He looked over her shoulder and nodded in that direction. "Looks like she found someone else."

Sure enough, when she looked, Tanya was dancing with a blond young man. She shook her head and laughed before turning back to the man.

"The answer is still no, but thanks for asking."

"Ah, come on. I'm alone and you're all by your self. What's the harm?"

"I think the lady declined your offer, pal," Edward spoke, sliding up against Bella from behind.

I'm so sad to see Parachute ending soon. It's been my baby for the past six months and I'm so thankful and grateful to each one onf you who has walked this journey with me! I'm not a big fan of angst or unnecessary drama, so our loose ends are starting to become tied up with Chapter 32. I only anticipate another 6 or so chapters before we're all finished. *sad face*

Parachute ended up winning the 3 Original Character Awards that it was up for, so much love and adoration to everyone who voted! Voting for The Avant Garde Awards ends on the 26th.

Victoria flew at Bella, pushing her forward as the other girl struggled.

"Stop it!" Victoria whispered. "Unless you want to fucking die, then keep right on fighting me."

Bella ceased to move and felt Victoria's hands pulling at the knot in the rope around her wrists. "Why are you helping me?" she asked in confusion.

"I may be a shitty mother, but I'm not a killer, Bella. We've got to get out of here. He's come unhinged."

"Really, Vicki? Is that what you think of me?" James voice echoed throughout the room.

Victoria froze just as the knot slipped away and Bella felt her hands come loose. She fought the fire in her shoulders and kept her hands together so that James wouldn't realize that she was free. Victoria's ice blue eyes were large with fear as she turned to face her lover.

In other news, Bella and Jack both won the Avant Garde Awards that they were up for! I simply can not thank everyone enough! You guys are the single biggest reason that this story has been as successful as it has! I adore each and every one of you! And not just for voting or reviewing, but for continuing on this journey with me and loving Jack as much as I do!

I'm shooting to have the EPOV up soon, but he's been difficult. I'm also in the process of writing a Victoria POV for the Fandom Against Domestic Violence compilation. It should be interesting to see how well I can channel bat-shit crazy!

"Edward, can I ask you something?" she asked in a quiet voice.

He shifted slightly and brushed a piece of hair from her face. "Anything, baby."

She swallowed nervously, worried about what his response would be to her question. "The documents that James showed me, were they real?"

He took a deep breath and nodded hesitantly. Betrayal pierced her heart and she felt tears spring to her eyes.

"Ssh, don't cry," he whispered, brushing thumbed across her cheeks. "It's not like it sounds."

"Then how is it? Why were you petitioning for custody if you're moving across the country? Or was that a lie?" she replied with a small sob, her body beginning to shake.

Parachute is up for three Walk of Fame Awards: Angst Goddess, Queen of Hearts and Story of the Year. It's up against some major big ones like University of Edward Masen, Master of the Universe and Emancipation Proclamation, so I don't hold any expectation other than getting squashed like a bug. I am also up for three writing awards as well: Rising Starlet, Hopelessly Devoted and Musical Maestro.

I would adore winning the Hopelessly Devoted award. It's for the one writer that you know you can always count on. I think I've proven to you guys over and over that I'm "hopelessly devoted" to you, with the weekly updates and review replies to each and every reviewer. If you head over there and end up feeling that another author up for the award deserves it more, please follow your heart and vote for them. I just ask you to please keep me in consideration. ^_^

Parachute ~ Chapter 36 Teaser:

Bella stood, drenched head to toe, in the middle of her front lawn. Hot tears streamed down her face as the chilly rain pelted her skin. Her mouth was open slightly in shock, as she gazed down with wide eyes at the man she loved more than life itself. Edward's hopeful, joyous face grinned up at her from his stance on one knee. The ring held in his hand was a single brilliant diamond that was simple, yet elegant.

"Isabella Swan, I have been captivated by you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. That love only grew and expanded as I got to know you and saw first hand what a wonderful mother you are to our son. Forever could never be long enough for me, to feel like I've had long enough with you. Marry me?"

She covered her mouth and let out a sob, before throwing her arms around him and shouting, "Yes!"

They fell together, a mass a limbs and lips, their hearts beating both beating wildly. He pulled away slightly and pushed a lock of rain-saturated hair from her face.

"Let's go inside, please. I don't want you to catch a cold."

When they stood, his eyes were drawn to her white shirt, now completely plastered against her bare breasts, her nipples hard and straining against the fabric. His hand reached out to brush against her breast, causing her to become self conscious and cross her arms across her chest. She laughed lightly and nodded her head towards the house.

"Come on, let's get dry."

Edward let out a loud guffaw. "I'd rather keep you wet, love."

His hands wrapped around her waist and he pulled her back to his chest as they tumbled into the house. Sopping wet clothes soon littered the foyer floor and hands roamed greedily.

"Where is our bedroom?" he asked huskily, sweeping her into his arms.

Victoria POV Outtake ~ "In the End" teaser:

I won't ever be remembered for my common sense. I know most of you hate me and I'm fine with that. I deserve it. I was a bad, bad girl. For those of you who don't know my story, I'll start at the beginning.

My mother married my father for his money and power. When she'd finally had enough, she left and took half of his net worth, including me. He never seemed to mind. He sent an obscenely large support check once a month, but it always felt like a buy-off. Once he re-married and began a family with his new wife, our interactions were even fewer. Who knows how I would have turned out if he had made more of an effort? He's just as much to blame for my upbringing as my mother is. He knew how she was, yet he still didn't lift a finger to keep me.

The blogs have undergone some work over the past two weeks. KitsuShel.blogspot.com will now be used as a hub for everything that I write, with links to actual story blogs. Parachute's will remain up, just under a different name. Parachuteff.blogspot.com My next fic, Rabbit Heart's blog is up as well. There are a few pictures and teasers up there as well. =) RabbitHeartff.blogspot.com

Teaser from Rabbit Heart Chapter 1:

The streets were eerily empty as the girl stealthily slipped out of the Beverly Hills house, although one could quite easily exchange the term mansion in its stead. Her shoulders were hunched as she made sure her hood was firmly covering her blond hair, her back laden with only an over-stuffed backpack and a guitar case. She needed to escape quickly, unseen, and today was the best time to make that happen. It was just after eleven pm, on Christmas Eve and there was practically no movement on Santa Monica Boulevard. She traveled on foot for almost three miles before coming across a cab running on the desolate streets.

She quickly stowed her meager possessions in the backseat before climbing inside.

"The nearest Greyhound station, please," she requested as softly as she could, but still within the driver's hearing range.

The older man glanced at her in the rear view mirror. If he thought anything was off about the way she kept her face hidden, he made no mention of it.

"Heading home for the holiday, sweetie?"

"Something like that," she murmured, staring out of the window and watching the lights pass by. They reached their destination in just under fifteen minutes and she handed him a $50 bill.

EPOV

I felt her before I saw her; I turned to see her walking towards her picnic table, the one she and her friends always sat at. The way she moved could hypnotize a man. She was confident and sexy, always with a smile on her face.

Some days when she was wearing her cheerleading outfit, it was near impossible to stay away from her. It wasn’t something I was ever attracted to before, cheerleaders, that is, but her in that tiny skirt was heaven. She was completely different from me, where I was more shy and withdrawn, she was bold and sassy.

I knew her name was Bella as I had heard her friends shout it enough times, but that was the extent that I knew about her, besides the fact that she was beautiful.

She met my eyes as she always did and I was speechless. Her eyes were always so kind and welcoming, even to me, someone she didn’t know. I knew she felt the pull that I did, but the truth was, she was the kind of girl who could have anyone.

What would she do with me?

Jane is well, Jane. She kind of likes her status quo. She doesn't think that Bella would be a good match for Edward and personally she doesn't really get along with the type of girl Bella is. She's not trying to be a bitch but it's just kind of who she is.

Thanks. I don't think that Edward's friends even realized that they were attacking Bella, It's just the way they are.
