The way Bella acts and carries herself, it's hard to believe she's just 13 yr old. You can see why Edward's feelings toward her would change. The bracelet Bella made Edward was a sweet going away gift. Now I want to know what kind of tattoo Edward is going to get and who is the inspiration?. Could the tatt be beautiful bird, by chance? Hmmmm......

I know we'll eventually find out what happened, but I can't wait to find out and want to know why Carlisle and Charlie seem to be more upset about what happened compared to Esme and Renee. Esme seems to try to keep Edward away from Carlisle's line of fire and Renee wants to get to know Edward again, which upsets Charlie. Would that be a mother thing?

Yes, it's very much a mother thing. Carlisle was always hard on Edward, and after what happened, he was so disappointed that it changed the way he saw his son. Charlie is being stubborn, and that's pretty much it. Esme and Renee are the ones who really look at Edward because he's such a big part of Alice and Bella's lives. We'll see more of this as the story moves on.

Yes, I can definitely see BPOV is lighter, but then she is only 13. There are times she where she's noticing Edward's appearance, like how he looks dressed and barefoot or how his hair looks. Then in the next breath, she sees him as a friend. But she also seems to have to remind herself that Edward is her best friends brother. Ah, those 13 year old hormones.

Oh, he does look at Bella differently and he's starting to realize it. How he feels at peace when he's around her and it seems natural. Garrett's sees it and he's also witnessed Edward's nightmares, screaming Bella's name. Who else has or will notice it? Edward had Maggie, this beautiful woman, who he got along with very well, but he realizes he doesn't or ever will he fall in love with her. To me, she's more like a very good friend with benefits that helps Edward get away from what's really going on in his head, to get away for a while. I'm interested in how Edward's conversation with Garrett is going to go or is Garrett going to call him out on it first? :)

God, my heart is breaking for her. The one bright spot is that she does open up a bit to Edward and he is so sweet to her. But Bella has to realize she's hurting Jasper more by not talking to him than actually telling him what happened.
