I like that you have posted something like this. My heart go out for this family. I didint have to close my eyes and imagina that because i have been through that.My situation is very similar i was pregnant with a little girl and i was happy. At 6 months pregnant we found out there was complications, My little girl had water on the brain (hydrocephalus) it was so bad that her brain was not forming right. She needed out and out soon, so i went through steroid shots to try to get her lungs ready. we waited as long as we could but it was getting too bad so at 32 weeks i had a planned c-section. I hadnt had a c-section before but her head was too large to give birth natrally without damaging her brain further.she was born and they immediatly took her away to the childrens hospital and they placed a shunt the very next morning. I didnt get to see or hold her for 3 days.She had gotten an infection in her shunt and had to have a external one placed for 3 weeks. she has had 2 more shunts since then. We found out that because of the hydrocephalus she was missing hte corpuss colossum of her brain and the rest of her brain was pushed up against her skull that they didnt know the damage. She stuggled to learn how to drink from a bottle, she was fed from a tube for 4 months. She has had alot of struggles but she is now 16 months old and just learned how to walk. She has had lots of help with physical and occupational therapy. She is my miracle baby and has come so far. we are left with many hospital bills also. she has done so good but we still dont know how she will do in the future. I havent put my story out there but i wanted to share this. Like i said my heart goes out to losh's family. He is a miracle.
