I see other young women around me who overlook that person who would be so good for them in favor of some heel, like Breandan, who they hold onto for no good reason. It's because they have history, or he's handsome, or they are simply afraid to be without someone. All kinds of foolish reasons. Sookie is no different. She doubts herself and she doubts her motivations.

Sorry if it is too slow, but I hate the stories where they meet , fall in love and get it on all in the first few chapters and then spend the rest of the story trying to find there way back together.
