Just a quick comment. Laurent is a man so wouldn't say je Suis très heureuse mais je suis très heureux. Adjective change with the subject gender.
Secondly , while comment vas tu? Is perfectly correct when you don't know someone you use " vous" instead of "tu " , which is used for people you are closed to.
So Edward should have said : comment allez- vous? Like you put in the footer :)
