World War II Navy Pilot Edward meets shy wallflower Bella at a USO dance and starts to fall in love immediately. Two weeks and a wedding later, they face separation as Edward ships off to the Eastern Front. How will Bella handle life back in the states while Edward fights for their country abroad? Will the letters they exchange be enough to help them get through the painful separation?

So glad Jasper and Emmett got back safely - it's weird how invested I got in all their safety considering it's a) set almost 70 years ago and b) fictional but I love it. Fab story and I'm gutted it's ending.
