cute. it probably is similar to how lenny would have viewed the situation, although tbh i'm not sure he would have realised that she made him do it - i think that he *did* take the guilt on himself a lot more than you've portrayed.
but its very poignant. :-) i like it!

You're probably right but I wrote this when I was a Freshman in high school and as I was a grade ahead that was eleven years ago. When I wrote this it was my perspective on the story and how Lenny reacted. Also, if I remeber correctly this poem was deeply influenced by the film, where if memory serves me Lenny actually says it was her fault. I'm not certain though.

Although a tiny part of me thinks that maybe edward would have been better off dead? :-( after all, what's eternity without the one you love.
