Oh god, no! You say to not give up hope. I will try to not do that. My thoughts (hopes, really) is that he will explain the situation to her so that she knows WHY he feels the need to become the monster again. Then they can play their roles in front of Carlisle, Marcus, and Demetri while each knows that its just a role. Not real. If he has to punish her, he can pretend to do so in their bedroom by hitting something else with a strap and Bella can scream for the sound effects. Twisted, yes, but maybe their best option. Please update asap so that we're not left dying here! :)

I was SO SO worried about how Edward was going to handle this. I'm VERY relived that he didn't hit her! Yes, he should have told her before leaving their room, but at least he told her. And I'm very glad that she told him of Carlisle's threat. I really hope this is the worst its going to get and from here on out everything will get better again.
Can't wait to find out the secret of the garden! I think about it each time we have a new chapter. I just can't figure it out.

Wow - so Carlisle and Demetri are dead. Thank goodness! I figured the only way to truly be free from Carlisle was for him to die. I'm not sorry he's gone.
I'm torn about the last line - "Let me go." While I do think Edward needs to do this for Bella to get her life under her own control, I don't know what this will do to Edward. You say Bella will have her HEA. But will Edward have his? My hope is that they call off the wedding for now and that Bella goes on to college. But she and Edward start dating like a normal couple. They love each other, and I think, need each other. So I don't want to see them apart. But Bella should have a chance to follow her dreams.
I look forward to whatever ending you have planned for these two. Its hard to believe the story is almost over. What a ride its been!

Wow! What an amazing chapter! He really let her go; I'd love to read his POV on that and what he's been through over the last 2 years. I loved the way you've summed things up nicely in this chapter while maintaining reality - that they ALL needed therapy and that Bella needed time away to sort things out and discover herself. I'm so happy for Alice too that she was ready to have a baby of her own. And the idea of Renesme's House is fabulous!
I was saddened at first about talk of Bella's date since I thought she was trying to date other people. I was really happy to discover that her date is with Edward. Yay! I look forward to the epi, though I will be sad to see this story end. I'll happily read any out-takes or side stories that you write (like about Renee and Esme or more about Alice and Jasper).

This was a fitting end to the story. I love the symbolism of the gate being torn down. And I love that Esme was able to find happiness and love with another man. She deserved it! Everyone has come such a long way, but they all have their HEA. I'm going to miss this Bella and Edward. Good luck with your book.
Bella's a good girl, goes to a private girls school doesn't put a foot wrong. Goes out for one night with the girls and meets bad boy Edward who is from a public school and leads Bella off onto a different path..
