Bio:
World War II Navy Pilot Edward meets shy wallflower Bella at a USO dance and starts to fall in love immediately. Two weeks and a wedding later, they face separation as Edward ships off to the Eastern Front. How will Bella handle life back in the states while Edward fights for their country abroad? Will the letters they exchange be enough to help them get through the painful separation?
Rated NC-17 for the lemony exchanges in the first few chapters and perhaps later on in the story.

I normally shy away from historical pieces, but I've been sucked into this story from the first few paragraphs. I can't wait to see how things progress, although I sense I may need to keep my tissue supply stocked:)
Lonesome and second-guessing his career as a baseball player, Edward never imagined that it would only take one foul ball to turn his world upside down. That he might possibly find everything he had ever dreamt of, everything that had been missing in his life. Would he embrace it, or would he strike out, never knowing true love?

So glad that you are liking it. Yeah I get the once a CUbbie fan always a Cubbie fan, it's like that for us Cardinal fans too! That is the one thing Chicago and St. Louis has in common, very devoted and die hard baseball fans. Imagine how I felt when long time Cardinals player Jim Edmonds came to play for the Cubs? He is my all time favoirte. But I still cheered for him. Shhh don't tell my husband he might disown me. LOL
