I am a "Mature" woman who admittedly is obsessed with Robert Pattinson and The Twilight Saga much to the chagrin of my family. Thankfully, they let me indulge in my favorite past time of reading twilight fan fiction stories.
I would love to be able to write like all these wonderful authors but haven't had enough talent or confidence to write. Maybe one day but for now, happy just to have the opportunity to read these incredible stories!

Wow Another great chapter! I'm a bit confused on the Eleazar & Renee relationship. Renee & Charlie are married & still together, right? Bella calls him uncle so are Eleazar & Renee estranged siblings or do you have an upcoming twist & we will find out soon enough?
In any case, very suspenseful & can't wait for more! Ps. I'm amazed Bella & Carlisle aren't more messed up with everthing they've been through. Bella should cut Charlie some slack. Who in their right mind would even think that a 10 yo would have a lifelong obsession on a girl who was 6? Never would have crossed my mind. Good little twist to the story.

What the...??? Carlisle's father??? Carlisle witnessed his mother being gang raped when he was 10 and then she went home and killed herself, right? Did you write about his dad in a previous chapter that I forgot about? If so, can you tell me which one and I'll go reread.
I'm so glad you update frequently (like every other day if not more) so the story stays fresh! It's also nice to see canon couples as well as non canon couples along with similiar descriptions for some but not all (like a long haired Alice. Perfect!)
I love the twists and turns that you've woven. It's done in a very believable way and it's not always in every chapter which can get tedious. Good job and looking forward to more!

Charlie and Renee are so CLUELESS!! Cannot believe they "forgot" about the tunnel that just so happened to open up into Bella's room! Cannot believe Charlie didn't think it was important to tell everybody that James was his son; even after he told Bella that she's known him her entire life. Arghhh.....I want to take Charlie and Renee and crack their heads together!!! If anything happens to Bella, it IS their fault.
Bella and Edward falling in love so fast was fast but maybe in their line of work when they deal with the horrors of life, they have realized how short and fleeting life really is and once you know, you have to act on your feelings before they disappear. I think losing Lora was a wake up call to Edward so he knew saying ILY so early wasn't really too early at all.

What the heck is wrong with Charlie?!?! Does he have problem knowing his daughter is a better cop than he will ever be? Why did he abandon his son and for goodness sakes, why in the world was he not 100% honest and open about the tunnel, paternity and the cabin right up front? Does he realize the amount of danger he put his family in?

OK - no killing but you have to update SOON, please!!??!!?? How in the hell did Kate get access to Edward's apartment?? You know, it is more common than people think on child kidnapping. Lots of times childcare establishments say they have positive i.d. required for pick up but lots of times, employees get lazy and they just release kids without checking first. Happened to my kid's daycare and yes, the next day I pulled him out and put him somewhere else where you were buzzed in like a bank and only 1 person (the director) was able to release the kids.

I know Emma is only 4 and she went through a very difficult time and it's all Kate's fault. I also realize she is "acting out" and there is therapy but she is being a brat and sometimes "tough love" is needed. It seems that Edward is trying but Bella is too afraid that if she is too hard on Emma, she will alienate her.
I feel bad for all of them. It was such a wonderful fairytale and then Kate had to come and ruin it. Not sure how much more one can take. Just want all of them to have the HEA!!
BTW - please don't let Bella deliver too early. The stress of a preemie is so not needed!

I am reading this and what I like about it is the "insight" into the Amish culture. I'm assuming you've done some research so although there may be poetic license, I'm guessing most is accurate. I also like how you've incorporated Edward's past and why and what he is searching for without going overboard. It's enough to keep us wanting more and each chapter or two, more is revealed, which is great!
I am surprised at the level in which the amish allow their kids to "experiment" before they commit to the lifestyle and the length of time in which to do it. I always thought they had to remain virgins and had a year to "sow their oats" before coming back to the fold. Obviously I was wrong.
I'm hoping Charlie gives them his blessing. Edward and Bella should have a heart to heart on what they both want, where they see this heading and then go to Charlie and explain their feelings for each other. Leading Jake and others on is cruel and would just make it harder. I don't think Bella would leave the Amish lifestyle completely but wonder if there's a halfway sort of compromise.

Oh...."both of them"??? She's pregnant!! Didn't Edward take Sex Ed 101? Pulling out before ejaculating doesn't mean birth control. Some little persistent swimmers could have gotten loose and it looks like it did. I know Bella didn't tell Edward because he would either leave the Amish lifestyle to take care of Bella or Bella would feel trapped to stay. Also, how could she and Edward have married when she was pseudo promised to Jacob? Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we happen to deceive! So...she's going to stay away for 8 months or so, give the baby to Rosalie & Emmett or just decide never to come back and since she's shunned, Edward won'tknow about his child??? Heartbreaking here!! Just so you know!!

Oh thank God that Sarah gave in to gossip and spilled to Edward. It was just what he needed to get his butt in gear and do something. So sad that he thinks the baby could be James and not his. I'm glad Edward is going to Bella and he confessed his feelings for her to Charles. Here's hoping that Bella will receive him well and allow him to speak and to also tell him the truth about the baby. I don't expect her to come willingly back to the Amish nor do I expect Edward to leave what he feels he needs to heal. I am hoping they can find a happy medium where they can work on their issues together and find a compromise somehow. I also hope Sarah is out of the picture (still don't trust her) and glad Bella has hung on to her morals and not encourage stupid Newton. Charles reacted much better to Edward's love for Bella that I thought he would and I'm glad. It must have been so obvious to all but B & E. I love their story and cannot wait until you write more! Edward could feel the anger for her boiling inside him. He resented everything. The way she left, the way she moved on, mostly he resented how easily he came to her today. “Isabella,” he said unable to look her in the eyes.
Her heart dropped. There was no smile, no tearful hello, he had no need to hug her. She had never imagined such a cold reception.
“Uh...come in,” she said stepping to the side. Her eyes looking at the ground as she tried to hide the fact that she was on the verge of tears over his icy demeanor.
He walked past her and when his back was turned Bella wiped the tears and took a deep breathe. She turned to him slowly her hands buried in the front pocket of the sweatshirt.
“So, what's going on?” Edward asked aching to let go of his resentment, but still being distant. He didn't want to walk out even more heartbroken. He didn't want to get his hopes up. Hope for the best and expect the worst.
“I screwed up,” Bella began. “Like really screwed up,”she began to walk forward, closer to Edward.
“Listen, I know you moved on. I know you started seeing someone else. You don't really owe me an explanation, okay?” Edward said, wanting to get out of there.
“What?” Bella balked. “What are you talking about?” she asked.
“I went to find you Bella, your sister and her husband made it perfectly clear that I wasn't welcome. I wanted to hear it from you...so I waited. And you came home with some guy and I saw you kiss him. You left, and now your here to tell me your not coming back,” Edward said, walking closer to the door. He was itching to make his exit.

I admit, I was scared Edward was going to walk out on Bella and stay with Sarah since it was easier & he'd learn to love her. I know the future is uncertain as Edward needs time to figure out the future he can live with. Either way, someone is going to get hurt.
I did google Nickle Mines and after reading it, remembered the tragedy of that community. Don't know if you are planning to follow history or just use it as a setting. The teacher escapes so I'm afraid that either Sarah will survive but be so traumatized that Edward would be guilted into staying with her even if nothing was formalized or...he will relive his dream that he leaves Sarah dying as he walks off with Bella. In any case, Edward will feel guilt

I so love this story. I'm sure Edward had feelings for Sarah & would have settled for her if Bella never returned but Sarah would always be the safe, second choice and eventually, she would have had to face it.
I'm glad Edward is going back to Chicago. If anything, to see his family & get some closure.
Charlie is actually taking the news of Bella's pregnancy much better than I expected. It's nice he's giving them the option to return but if he has no intentions of baptizing Edward into the Amish community, he should be upfront now.

Soon, Edward and Bella were back at his Condo. Edward felt at home. “Home sweet home,” Edward yawned stretching his arms above his head. He was exhausted after the flight and all the revelations of the day. It felt good to open up, let people in. It felt good to swim. At least now he knew he was heading to shore.
“This is where you belong,” Bella said. She wasn't sure how she felt about it. She knew, that Edward didn't need to be Amish.
For the first time in months, Edward knew where he belonged and Bella was right. “Your right. I've missed it here.” Edward smiled at her. “Do you like it here? I mean I know we have only been here a day, but could you see yourself here?” Edward asked, because if she hated it, he would leave it behind for her. He missed his parents, even if things with his father were never exactly easy.
His father surprised him tonight. For the first time, Edward felt like his father had his back.
“I don't know,” Bella told him. There were things about being English she loved, but there were also things she didn't enjoy.
“I don't get it...I thought this would be what you wanted...not to be Amish. Not to be so restricted, I thought this whole trip was to see if I could survive without that crutch...?”
“Edward, I was Amish for sixteen years. That is sixteen Thanksgiving’s, sixteen birthdays, sixteen Christmas’s, and in one day I am supposed to make a choice to end that, to lose my family? A person doesn’t do that, not without a little hesitation. I’m entitled to a little uncertainty here. Just a moment to understand the magnitude of what it means to cut somebody out of my life. Aaarrrggghhhh.....first Edward wants to be Amish & Bella doesn't and now Edward thinks he can go back to being English & Bella is having her doubts! I get it, really and they do need to talk it out, listvthe pros & cons, see what they can live with and whatvthey can live without, what the future looks like, compromise and really, really talk!
When the were in Lancaster, age was not a factor but if they stay in Chicago, it will be. Also, I would hate to have Charlie & Renee lose bit their daughters but then it's not fair for Carlisle & Esme to lose their son & grandchild as well.
Wish there could be a middle ground where they could have both families in their lives.
I really love this story. I'm glad Edward & Bella recognize that it's fate that brought them together. Sarah would have been an easy second choice for Edward. He would have been satisfied & content but his heart would always belong to Bella. I think his dreams were telling his conscious mind whatvhis subconscious knew all the time!!

I don't like the way this story is going. I understand stories need & should have twists, turns & surprises to keep it interesting but for Aro
& company to show up is a bit over the top. Too many mistakes & holes to make it believable. Hope you will ba able to stop them from leaving. Once they are in Italy it will be too difficult. The feds as well as Interpol should have been involved once the mafia was known to be connected. Looking forward to more.

It was a good chapter but I don't think Bella fought hard enough. Getting on that plane was a huge mistake; especially after seein Aro dead. I'd rather die than leave with James. She could have made a run for it to gain more time. The cops should have been at the cabin before they left & with an even fight, someone should have been watching James so he couldn't get close to Bella. I like the story very much but find some of the aspects a bit too farfetched to make it believable. I know it's fiction but it still needs to be a bit more true, if you know what I mean. Hope you can update soon. I'm glad you believe in a HEA but not sure how that will be accomplished with Bella in Italy. Looking forward to see how you do this. I'm sure it will be fascinating. Great chapter....I'm so glad you didn't drag it out. It has been a while (understandably) so a brief refresher was in order.
Honestly, I think whatever you write will be anticlimactic. Maybe a few chapters to wrap it up....is James dead? What happened in tuscany? Maybe a wrap and then if you feel like it, maybe a sequel like Love and Redemption or something like that..

I'm sticking with it 'cause I love your stories. Please don't be offended but I find the beginning of this story very "jerky". I get that they were bff's, got separated and lost contact and now they are all back together. Just find it a bit difficult to believe the way B&E are interacting. I am assuming dinner will give more insight and I know they are doctors in a hospital that is busy but something just feels a bit disjointed for me right now. Maybe a "boys" POV or a bit more back story, etc.

Yup, I really enjoyed it! I love how they can reminisce and just fall right back into their close relationship...all of them. That's when you can tell that it's deep. You know, I run out of things to write because there isn't much more to say. I like your stories, I love that you update so quickly, I like how you have things move along, I like that you don't feel the need to insert sex into every chapter, if you have a cliffie, we don't have to wait too long, when you do insert sex, it's appropriate. You move your stories along without a lot of same scenes but different pov's., etc.
