I LOVE! this story! I cant get enough of it, I've been looking for a story with vampire mates for ages until I came across yours I just love the whole idea of vampire mating on instinct. marking etc... I think you protray it brillianty too, please update soon cant wait to see where your going to take this story! oh and by any chance you would know of any other story with the whole vampire mating instinct?

Yeah, its difficult find 'vamp mating' stories. But the author Jasper'sBlackRose has some very good stories with vampires mating and such. I haven't read them in a long time so I can't remember which contain more marking and mating. But go through em, maybe you'll find something that really catches your attention. There's another story by rmcrms5 called "Creating A Mate" that will contain marking. Hmmm...trying to think of some more... Oh there's a story called "My Mate" that has the mating instict too. It's on FF.net tho. I think the author's name is Different-kind-of-vamp, I think. Although someone else took over the story, you can still find it under that pename. I hope that helps.

And yes, humans can be turned, but they'll be hybrids. So Bella, if turned into a hybrid, could live with Edward for the rest of eternity. You'll find out the differences between half-vamps and vamps...I was going to say soon but it's actually still kinda far away. Now, Aro doesn't allow vampires to turn humans. It's a law that is punsihable by death for both human turned hybrid and the vamp. Aro fears hybrids and you'll find out the reason why later on.

Once again you amaze me with another fantastic chapter!!! LOVED IT! and boy wasnt it one long assed chapter, which by the way totally makes up for the wait. =)
I enjoyed every bit of this chapter, but as I was reading I thought wouldn't it interesting to see Bella and Edward get into a lovers tiff, like Bella be angry at Edward over something miniscule I dont know I just thought it would be funny to read because they seem such like the perfect couple without the whole vamp/human relationship thing hahahaha
Anyways loved the chapter and cant wait for the next!
Oh and I was just wondering when are ye going to update LAH because I've been dying to know what happens :'( ha

It's funny that you should mention that about the lover's tiff. You totally read my mind. I was just talking to my beta about a lovers tiff a few nights ago in chat. I'm not sure what chapter it will be in b/c there's so much going on, but it will happen very soon. Although they are true mates, that doesn't mean that they are perfect so i'm hoping to throw some conflict in there between the two....nothing too serious of course. For now...lol

hmmmmmmmm.......what can I say about this chapter, I LOVE IT, what more is needed to be said. This story is my all time favourite fanfiction and I really mean that, I have never found anything like it any where else.
I'm really looking forward to more B and E time, hopefully he'll warm to her a bit but you still gotta love a darkward, cant get much better then that hehehe

Loved the chapter.....it was a bit graphic but I still liked it, I'm in two minds about this story because I love "Living Amongst Vampires" so much, dont get me wrong I cant wait to see where you go with this story and how it pans out I just have a few questions. Will this fic be very dark like will Bella be treated badly all the way through? Will Edward be darkward(got to love a bit of darkward ha) in this? Will he be cruel to Bella throughout the story? honestly I love darkward fic but I like it when he really cares and loves her in it even if its deep down and she doesnt know about it, if you know what I mean, anyways moving on will Edward and Bella be mated in this like LAV? I dont mean to ask too many questions and annoy you I was just wondering because I can see I will really love this story but I hate reading fics that have a tradgic ending that you can see coming and no romance........sorry for the rant I just like me a bit of romance and a happy ending hahahahaha :P

Okay for the questions. I don't know how dark, I guess to me this isn't extremely dark, but I'm desensitized when it comes to horror movies and stories. lol Not much I guess grosses me out or scares me anymore...although those Saw movies were kinda gruesome. lol Anyways, Edward will NOT hit, smack, rape Bella etc. He still desires Bella, although he won't say it right away. In LAV, he admitted to her that she was his true mate the next day at school. Now in LAH, it will take a little longer, but I'm not planning to drag it out. Because Bella will still feel something for Edward, and she'll be confused by it- and she won't understand why Edward acts the way he does. They are still very much true mates like in LAV, with a little twist. He tries to fight what he feels for her, because he knows that hybrids are forbidden, yet he has this urge to claim her, wanting to keep her around for eternity- love her, aroused by her etc. But since she's a human, this will prove difficult....and of course, there's the no-hybrid law which is strictly enforced by King Caius, a very cruel vampire- ruler of all vamps. And Edward still craves to mark Bella with his marking venom, although he is more hesitant, and careful, knowing there will be consequences for those actions. In LAV, he doesn't care, he wants his mate, and he claims her. lol here it's more tricky.
And the vamps in this version are quite vicious. You may think that some vamps in LAV were cruel, but here it's worse. Now, you'll find out in ch. 2 which I'm currently working on, that there are some vamps that will care for her, but you'll see who.
So I'm not going to say that he will be cruel to Bella throughout the entire story- there will be some sweet moments where he saves her-protects her- cares for her- I still want him to feed from her too, and of course they will get intimate ( but remember he's very fierce and his upbringing is different since his family is dark)...ummm...he won't be really sweet and very playful like in LAV. He still feels very much protective of her. He will be demanding, and somewhat "cold" but he won't force himself on her, or hit her. And since the Cullens are dark in here as well, he'll be very protective of her. So Jasper or any other Dark Cullen who wants to harm Bella, better watch out. Edward is more distant in this story, yet he craves her at the same time. And yes, his feelings will get hurt when Bella snaps back at him for being so distant. But eventually everything will fall into place. Hope that makes sense. lol This story LAH is still being developed since I decided to write LAV first. There are scenes I have in my mind, but I need to fill in. It's kinda like that with LAV too, you would be amazed how many things change, it's almost like the story writes itself...like the characters are taking over. lol But in LAV, it won't get too much darker than ch 10. LAV has a dark undercurrent, whereas LAH will be dark. And the Cullen's, Charlie and Renee will not be the same as in LAV. Waaaay different. lol This will contain a HEA.

Omg that was so cool!! that was brilliant that Edward recognised Bella as his mate in the womb, was not expecting that! LOVED IT! haha..............so Im guessing Phil and Elise are going to be Bella's sort of adopted Vampire parents? since they cant conceive their own? I like that, I was expecting Bella to grow up in a human compound hating vampires and then meeting Edward, hating him but yet feeling drawn to him at the same time but I love the way your going with it so far definitely prefer this better. I said in my last review that I was in two minds about this fic because I thought there might be no HEA and Im not one to read them types of stories......Im a sucker for a happy ending hahaha but my favourites are dardwards stories and I can happily say that this story has become one of my top favourites along with LAV even if its just 3 chapters in I still love it, with that being said I was wondering would you know of any good stories along the lines of a darkward fic? or one with the whole mating thing yano something similar to this with the whole true mate thing?
Another question I have is, how is the Cullens going to be in this I was expecting Esme to be Edwards mother not Elizabeth? I really cant wait to see where you go with this story so please update soon! dont leave me hanging hahahaha :P

Yes, you guessed right. Phil and Elise will be Bella's adoptive parents in this story, b/c Charlie and Renee will be.....dark. And b/c Phil and Elise can't concieve. And I needed a couple who would love Bella like their own. Once you'll meet Charlie and Renee in LAH, you'll be happy that Bella wasn't living with them *shivers*
Bella...will not like certain vampires very much b/c some will be cruel, however, she'll be drawn to Edward. Now Mimi is part of that reason since Mimi doesn't like to see Bella form a bond with her adoptive vamp parents. Bella does like Phil and Elise, but Mimi isn't too fond of the idea. But we're not sure how much she'll dislike vamps, I don't want it to be too extreme. I think it will depend on the actual vamp itself.
I understand, some ppl don't like to read stories that don't have a HEA. Despite being a darkward story, it still will have a HEA.

Okay....lemme think...*thinking of darkward/Edward fics with mating*....hmmm....okay, there's this one fic called My Mate on ff.net, it's complete. I believe it's by Different-kind-of-vamp. This story features a dominant Edward- not dark, but he's very dominating-keeping a close eye on his Bella at all times, and submissive Bella vamp. He let's her know who she belongs to. *wink* lol It's one of my faves. There's a few more darkward ones, kinda sorta the mate thing, but not really....but the authors havent updated for almost a year =( Jeez, I can't think of any more...look through my favorites here at TWCS and FF.net- (my faves are under the same penname - IBelongToAVampire at FF.net) I have lots of stories saved there....maybe you can find something kinda similar there to this.
Ah yes, good question. In LAV I wanted Carlisle and Esme to be Edward's biological parents, but here the Cullen's will become his adpotive parents. And they will be dark too.
LOL. Tyg is working on chapter 3, thank goodness, b/c I'm trying to get ch 11 LAV finished before Dec. 25th! Lemme tell ya, pain in the ass. lmao

Great chapter once again. Wasnt expecting edward and jasper to be twins. Im guessing jasper will be jealous of edward? Also i was wondering how are the cullens going to be edwards family if ciaus want him as a heir?

Well the way we had it planned is that Caius won't be able to take care of Edward...like he won't be able to be there for him like he should. So he gives Edward to the Cullens.....but it's not set in stone yet. I'm going to start writing the next chapter of this story after I post ch 11 LAV this week. Chapter 4, Bella and Edward will be about 16 or 17 years old and I'll work out all the kinks then. lol

Loved it!!!!! just my cup of tea! ha really though I cant wait for the next chapter, although at points I did feel bad for Jasper and all but I understand were you coming from with the whole Jane Eyre reference, Edward was brought up that way to feel towards Jasper he doesnt know any other way, and Im guessing I wont become to much of a fan of Jasper in later chapters because I have a feeling he is going to do everything in his power to hunt Bella to get to Edward as she his only weakness............also I was just wondering is Jasper going to mate with Alice? and if so will the first time they meet (because you mention in this chapter the Branndons were in Forks? so therefore they must not live with Esme then?) will he be able go into his primal form? Once Love this story defo one of the top favs and cant with for the next chapter.............any chance for a teaser hahahaha ;)

It won't be hunting but you actually are on the right track. Jasper's weaknesses were pointed out to Edward, and now Edward has one. So we'll see how that goes in the future. But your spot on about Edward's up bringing. Um.....in my head no mating, you'll see why, but who said they couldn't have sex? Nope Alice is just one of the royals that stays in Forks, only kid in the house with Esme is Emmet and he will find his mate, just not so soon. I can't tell you if Jasper will be able to do it or not, because i don't know. Maybe maybe not depending on whose writing the chapter. Sure i'll ask jells to cut me a piece of her chapter and send a teaser through email *winks*

OH MY GOD!!!..............seriously amazing, and I'm not just saying that to say something I really mean it! I fucking love this story(yes I think it was needed to drop the fbomb haha) I have to say its my all time favourite story, I get giddy when a get an email about an update.
I was just wondering, I thought a vampire couldn't be with anyone else after finding their true mate? or is thant only after binding with them?

Once a vampire finds his true mate and claims her, he won't be with anyone else. But Edward hasn't done that yet. And the rules in LAH differ slightly just because it's a dark story.
