Charlie is exactly what Bella needs and I could even imagine him moving to Chicago to be near her, at least when he retired. He is the perfect Dad I think and the hug between the two shows how much they missed each other. I really like him and not only because of his affection towards Bella, but also how he immediately accepts Edward and spends time with him.
