Hmmm...I think that since Bella "read" a bit before their "talk" she had a better understanding of what Edward was trying to say; she still seems more knowledgable than I would expect if from someone who is a virgin and seemed to have a pretty sheltered life growing up. It makes me wonder if Bella didn't already have some knowledge about the BDSM world. Emmett cracks me up, he seems supportive of Edward being with Bella, as does Alice (she totally knows).
