Poor Bella.

Unfortunately successful people get tunnel vision but it is Edward’s industry success that is driving him and he is good at it. 

He is not good at relationships however and he should take a little time to consider how his “go away and leave me alone” comments are hurting Bella if he in fact cares about her.

He was always busy but he did have time for her when he came home before but now the novelty seems to have worn off.

His people would scan the media and report back to him that there has been an inordinate amount of publicity about him and Maggie.

It is one thing to blame Maggie but Maggie wouldn’t be a problem if Edward handled her properly and at the same time reassured Bella, not ignore her.

I don’t always believe in attacking the woman, she is a publicity driven star and is concerned about her image, you can’t really blame her; she is out to save herself.

No I place the blame squarely on Edward’s shoulders here, he is simply put, being a very bad husband.

Thank goodness Bella never got pregnant.

Oh no.....This is bad. I'm thinking Bella might not be staying in LA for too much longer....And if she does leave Edward, I don't blame her and I don't feel sorry for him. He's been acting like a grade-A asshat and continuously letting Maggie intefer with his marriage. He's the one adding fuel to the fire.

Oh dear, things are just going from bad to worse.  They really need to sit and talk properly.  They both have valid concerns but this tit for tat is getting them nowhere.  Edward can't keep ordering Bella around and Bella can't keep being in a strop when they have the chance to talk.  I hope they can sort this out soon otherwise Maggie will be rubbing her hands together.

Edward deserved that.  He may be busy and bogged down with problems but there's no need to take it out on Bella.  A thirty year old would have a problem with the way he's been never mind an eighteen year old.  Talk about double standards, just because of his high powered job it's okay for him to cancel plans at the last minute but not for Bella to be little late home for school.  He needs to have a word with himself and start treating Bella like his wife and not a child.  She did not deserve any of the things he said or the way he's been treating her.

Such wonderful angst! I love it! Brilliant, emotional chapter. Poor Bella. It must be tough for both of them, but I do admit to feeling more sorry for the situation Bella is in rather than Edward. She has done so much for him and when she needs some reassurances and a moment of his time, he shuts her down. Yes his work is crazy at the moment but it doesn't mean he has the right to take it out on Bella. Hopefully with Bella pushing away from him it will help him to wise up. I think it would do them both good though if Bella temporarily moved out. It would definitely make Edward rethink his priorities.

Well this is going to the shitter...

I feel sorry for both of them. My God communication is the key to a marriage and with the way they are going it is going to be short lived. I really hope they both pull their heads out of their assess. They are both at fault here. Edward for not being more protective over Bella as she is new to this lifestyle and needs guiding. Bella for acting like a child, and not being more receptive to her husbands troubles and believing in trash mags. I really think that Edward need to take them out of Hollywood for a weekend and just talk and get it out in the open, reconnect.

Neither should run away but I have a feeling that is what is going to happen, that is what usually happens in these stories. You are only getting low ratings because I am upset with your characters not your writing. It is wonderful as always.

Maggie is getting what she wants that bitch must go down.

I think Edward needs to realize that Bella is still so young and insecure.  I think maybe he has forgotten that.  If he really wants this marriage to work, he needs to shift his priorities a little bit and start paying more attention to Bella.  I have a feeling that Bella is thisclose to running away.
