Oahu has tons of touristy stuff. Lots of good food... Zippys (chili and plates), mc E's has spam and eggs for breakfast, POG (passion, orange and guava juice) is sold everywhere and is delicious, Costco sells tons of food souvenirs and stuff. There's an aquatic center where u can learn to surf and parasail and they take pictures, matsumotos shaved ice and the shrimp trucks nearby ... Swap meet around aloha stadium with shopping, international market for shopping, beaches, shows, luaus.... Now I wanna go back ;)

I haven't even read this ch yet but, after your A/N, I had to say what was on my mind! I agree, this story is so true. I too grew up "fat" - a size 16 - & was belittled all my teenage yrs. After having my son I was in a car accident, leaving me bed ridden for 3 mos. - my mother had to BATHE ME, my brother had to FEED ME & I became friends with the neighbor girl cos I needed help getting DRESSED in the mornings. I went from a 16 to a 25, & was ridiculed daily for the 4 yrs. it took me to get down to an 18!! HOWEVER, I met a man... so attractive, who is a workout nut, & HE LIKED ME?! HE persued ME! He has never tried to change me, never belittles me due to anything - especially my size, & no he's not a DR but he is a musician, & his band is highly known in the state I live in. he never tries to hide me, more like constantly dragging me around to meet everyone he knows. This story is relatable to many girls & its a slap in the face to think not. It's extremely well written, too, with very little typos. That reviewer is crazy! Now.. I shall read this ch. :D
