I think that Edward is getting off to easy. He all but left Bella to deal with the childern by herself. He went and played big shot, and didn't give a shit about them.
If he had put forth ANY effort his childern wouldn't be so pissed at him. Its not just Sam, I think all of their childern are seeing/feeling his neglect. Not just Bella. Although he had push her aside for a himself and his wants. He is feeling bad now, but it's just because he got her picture that he returned. He thought she was screwing around on him. Before the picture he was didn't give a flying shit to a degree.

Wonderful chapter. Thank you for giving us both E/B and the Tahoe side in one chapter. Was anxious for the Jasper/Jackson talk and it went so well. Love Lexi. Makes me wish I had a twin! I love how in depth I feel with ALL of your characters, of course the pictures help to 'see' them and really feel like you know them. Silly, but I printed out the pictures in a collage of each family so I could keep it handy while I read and keep everyone straight. Really helps and I so love the 'people' you chose for the kids. Josh & Jared remind me of Em. Tiffany is absolutely a perfect mini Alice and Jack, Lexi, Nick and Sam... perfection! Still wish I could find the PLU picture of Edward holding Jack & Lexi in his arms when they were newborns. That picture haunts me to this day. Cried happy tears when I saw it and I have never forgotten it. Too much to ask for it to make its way into this story somehow? Love the way you write and can't thank you enough for sharing!
