The reuinion in the playroom was perfect - not only for Bella with being in sub space again, but also to see the two of them interact with all their passion and love for one another! They really need their couple time and Edward is right in planning to book the room more often.

Do I have to worry about the new security guy on the ranch?! I hope that he is an honest guy and does his job properly!
We really have the calm before the storm now and I hope that the team doesn't give up on finding out what's going on behind the scenes! Darryl should really have the guts to step up and tell the Cullens what Peter and Larry plan! If he does it right, nobody will harm him, but of course he's frightened by the article he received... I wonder whether Bella has told the guys that she may have seen something at night? The details are alsways the most important facts, so I hope she didn't forget about it! Maybe she and Edward will talk about that the next day?

after having finished the first story and now uip till here, I just HAVE to give you feedback on this amazing story!
Bella and Edward are just the perfect couple! And this is due to the fact that they are NOT perfect! They love each other (although I still believe that this kind of love and devotion does NOT exist in reality) and their family, which is the most important thing at all!
The family is crazy as it can be, but they do have a lot of fun and adventures never stop!

The obstacles in their lives can be helped with the solidarity of one true family and Esme and Carlisle have just achieved that!

The only thing that irritates me is that you keep telling us that everathing will be fine in the end. I mean it is okay to know that there will be a HEA, but I git the impression that by smoothing us you take some of the tension away! We know that something will happen, so just let it happen ;)
I still hope that Darryl will find an occasion to talk to Edward or Andy, this would help a lot! They can set him up without Larry knowing it! He should have a bit more trust in the Cullen men ;) Hopefully the family does not have to endure the drama of one ore several children missing! Bella would be moritiied! I don't think that she could really stand that... I mean she would, but afterwards it would take a lot to make her feel safe again!

So I am really looking forward to the next chapter! Hope it comes soon ;)

I will never give up on this story, simply because it's so amazing... It was worth waiting for and now you came back with the big BOOM! It's good that Andrea has thought of so many things before they left the house, but now the question is if anyone will think of Tahoe...

What about the envelopes Darryl has left? Shouldn't anybody have found them by now?! Even if it does not help to find the kids right now, they will surely want to know what has been going on! If only Darryl had had the guts to go to Edward earlier... this won't save him and probably he will not survive this if he will stand against Larry once more.

I sincerely hope that neither Max nor Andrea will be hurt and that the family and cops will be in time...!!

it's great to read from you and I'm so glad that everybody is home :) I also like how Bella and Edward talked to Alexis and Mario, Mario surely has his hands full with her!

The idea of building a new house is a good one so that all bad memories can be stored away... I just hope that there will be no new drama soon... it will take enough strength to work through all this in therapy, especially for the kids.

Oh my...! This is honestly one of the sweetest if not THE sweetest scene I've ever read!

Anthony is just... I don't know how to put it in words, but he's the cutest boy and he's so brave! He cares for Lil Bit in an instant and immediately accepts Edward as his father!
Would like to know what Kate the Bitch told him about his father and what he thinks about his poor excuse of a mother! But I think we will get to know all this in time ;)

The Williams' are great people and Edward and Bella are really trying hard to make it as comfortable as possible for them. Of course the boy should live with his (more or less biological) parents and they can accept that seeing that it is a very loving and caring family Anthony will will be joining.

Kate's behavious is just unbelievable and I don't know what else to say about this!! I wouldn't be surprised if Bob will tell her some honest words in absence of any children... and they won't be nice, not at all. If she didn't want a child, she better check her contraception methods! She was pregnant twice from Edward and he didn't know of either child!

But for the happy parts of the story: I am glad that Bella is healthy so far and hope she will be fine in the next months as well!

So I am keen on the next chapter - keep it like this ;)

Wow, this is some news indeed! I'm happy that Edward managed to talk it out immediately with Bella, after calming down of course ;)

I'm curious to see what the relationship between Kate and Anthony is like! I mean if she is a good mother, then she would just accept it (but then again she wouldn't have hidden it for all this time) and Edward could get to know Anthony. But I assume that you're not gonna make it that easy!
Probably Kate is still a bitch (the Professor left her, didn't he?) and is not too happy with her situation.
What I'm wondering about is whether she knew that she was pregnant again when she broke up with Edward.  Maybe she just found out some weeks later. Doesn't make it any better though.

I love seeing Edward and Bella so happy, plus Alice "releasing" all of her lovingly craziness on the family although she probably won't have any children of her own. I'm sure we will learn the backgrounds of this condition, but obviously she has learned to live with it and so has Jasper, our fine Texan Prince Charming ;-)

I did indeed enjoy this! I love it that Bella always is so positive and looks at the good things in her life, not the bad! She will overcome the hysterectomy well I think, and she ahs a wonderful (extended) family that cares for them.

Edward is doing great and gives exactly the right support to Bella - they are a wonderful team and with Lil Bit and Ant being so mature for their age it is very much fun reading about them ;-)

Bella has gone through hell and back, as Edward put it, and is finally starting to enjoy life again! This will have a good impact on the kids, we  have seen what Johnny has told Edward about his mom being sad all the time and not scratching his back ;-)

I am happy to see that the dates with Edward go so well and that therapy and a strong environment get Bella out of her misery.

However, I am crazily curious who will be the first person to sleep with her in her bed again... I hope for it to be Edward, but you never know. Maybe it is a good point to start with him and to expand the trust!

Ouch - cliffy!! :-D Bella has made great progress so far, with finding a place to be and a plan for her studies. She has done everything right and seeing Charles in this pathetic state of mind is just... satisfying :-D 
I really wonder who stands in front of her now, because I am not sure if it's Edward or Alice or someone else. But I doubt that it's Alice, because that wouldn't be that surprising!

So I hope for the next chapter soon to ease my poor mind of this uncertainty ;-)

Michael and Bella get along really well I would say - he treats her like his sister and this is what she currently needs. He is somber and can give good advice so I hope that the faith Bella now puts in Edward will be rewarded!

It really is a surprise seeing him there, standing up and wanting to say something. But I really do not have any idea of what he is about to say (and this is making me a bit crazy right now...)! 

As for the end of the story or a possible sequel: What I wish for os that Edward and Bella are happy and content with theis lives. May it be together or seperated, but they should be able to close the past with having processed it. No "what if"'s or something like that - I hope that Bella finds her way into a college and studies that she likes so that she can lead the life that she wants. And for Edward I wish that he can forgive himself what he did, because Bella will do taht at some point as well. This does not necessarily need a sequel but maybe a small jump in time. No, they do not have to have children and be married and so on, but only a small perspective of their future, as a couple or not. But I also think that as soon as both of them have forgiven what has happened, they may be able to start over and see where it takes them!

So to make it short: I'm lookong forward to the next chapter and only hope for a HEA for both individual people. :-)

Ok now that is A LOT to take in for Bella! 
The article Edward wrote is... honest, correct...but also just unfair towards Bella! Yes, what he wrote is not wrong, but he disclosed things about her that are not for the public! Her treatment of him is the one thing, her private history another.

It is fully understandable that she lashed out to Alice and Rosalie - and as you said, if we love people we will forgive, sooner or later. 

That her father put the cherry on top of this cake of chaos was to be expected... he is the shallow asshole that does not deserve to have a son following him everywhere and doing everything for him. Why does he throw Bella out when HE is the one who dictated her NOT to go to college?! I just don't get it how peolpe can be like that...

Michael at least did the right thing to look for his sister and I am absolutely on the same page with his speech about Edward being the ignorant person. I am not totally furious about him, but he saw himself in the glory light of soing something special although he did not learn very much in this process. At least not when it comes to Bella and their relationship.

I hope that Bella will not forgive him for some time, because he needs to learn his lesson as well! I think she did, it will only be a matter of days or weeks for her to accomodate the new circumstances. Maybe she and Edward can start over once she has a life of her own, with job and/or college and some genuine friends like Alice.

So I really look forward to reading the next chapter to see what Edward was doing in the hospital, how her gradnfather is and if the two can clear the air!

I really like this last chapter and you wrapped it up really well! That Bella has chosen Angela for the charity is a very good idea and she has truly made her and her kids happy! That the others used the occasion to talk to her was also just what the doctor orderd! 

Edward's dictionary action was totally edwardish and sweet and ultimately led to their reunion - even if it was Bella's anger the brought her to Horizons. But she saw the one important thing: That she would regret it for the rest of her life if she did'nt give Edward another chance to make this right. And he will do so, I'm sure! They both know that a relationship is not just fluff all over and this is very vital in my opinion!

I really look forward to reading the short sequel, because I want to find out if Bella has the chance to get to know her biological father and clear her backgrounds! Maybe there is another part of her family that will welcome her, I mean we don't know what her mother has told the people, do we?

So thank you for this story, it is really just wonderful and shows, how people can, with the right influence and amount of love, change their ways and see what's important in life!

This were some nice invaders I would say ;-) Renée and Charlie helped a lot more than they probably think, according to Edward's thoughts. I like the idea that for once Bella's parents are the positive constant from parental side in a story, it doesn't always have to be Esme and Carlisle ;-) Maybe, at some point later on, Edward and Charlie will have some man time and Edward is able to thank him for his calm temper and being a good sample for a dad! This would really enhance the relationship between them, I think.

Now, next chapter I suppose that we're going to meet Esme! You're teasers are simply so good, it's not that you're predictable, but you are able to put a lot of content in few words and this is a talent!

Maybe, when Bella starts to overcome the post-pregnancy hormones, she realises that she also actually like to sleep in a bed with Edward. I suppose that even now she will see that she doesn't sleep as well without him ;-)

Oh wow, a lot happened in this chapter! The two had their first "cirisis" with Chris and Em and Rose are married?! I'm really curious what happened between them and if they have talked it out - are we going to get some more details on this possibly? ;)

Now with Bella being emotionally overloaded, i expected a kiss or something, but that they would go all te way surprised me! I think Edward did the only thing he could do now, because who knows how long Bella would shut him out had  he not taken this chance. According to your teaser, they are going to talk about this and this I like very much. Maybe Bella only thinks that she is not ready to make the official relationship inofficial as well, but I'm sure that she will eventually see that she really does want this. And that she won't get hurt with Edward by her side.

So - let's see what happens next time!

Wow, Emmett really did a number here! Rose will he furious, but he better tell her sooner rather than later! If he doesnt start this honestly, Rose will probably not forgive him this one. But we'll see what happens and keep our fingers crossed for them ;) I like it that Aro and Esme seem to get along, O hope that they maybe wil have their happy end! Plus Edward has a father figure he may turn to :)

Hehe, of course Renée had to find out about the pregnancy, but I'm really glad the she and Charlie are positive about it and welcome Edward in the family immediately!
It's really nice to see Edward and Bella grow closer and sharing deep secrets with each other and also intensify their ohysical contact. Although it's VERY slow in my view ;-) But still, I can understand Bella's hesitance, but on the other hand, why should she shy away from her own feelings towards edward? We'll just have to wait until she discovers how serious these feelings are!

I'm not quite sure what I should think of Jacob, since he calls Edward a bastard after the first 5 seconds, but since he obviously doesn't love Bella in this very way, he will probably be ok... But in my view he has to proove that he accepts Edward by her side.

As for the preview of next chapter, I assume that this is Edward receiving a call from Bella in the middle of the night? I hope that everything will be ok with little peanut!

This epi was totally worth it and it was fantastic! I like how everyones' lives turned out, especially that Esme is happy again! 
I like that the revealing of Rose's "accidentally on purpose" pregnancy has not harmed Em in a bad way - I think it was right that she learned it later on, since she was absolutely correct about her probable reaction at that time...

No Bella and Edward got their HEA and I'm totally content with this :)

I am not that surprised about Esme's behaviour since she wouldn't have shown up if she was still the cold-ass b**** from before ;-) I think it's remarkable that she finally stood up for herself and left Carlisle. After all these years it is not easy to do this I suppose, even it has never sat right with her. Better late than never! She has seen that Bella is a good and kind woman and despite her merely non-existent relationship to Edward she mustered up the courage to talk to him and use the opportunity. 

I am proud of Edward for listening to her and the fact that he called her "mom" shows that not everything is completely lost for them. Esme knows that she must be careful and mustn't expect too much out of this, but this will give all of them the chance to get acustomed with the thought of her being a part of her children's lives again.

And no, I don't think that Carlisle will show up soon. Or if so, it's only to accuse them of luring Esme away from him. I don't think that he will come to his senses and also they won't give him a chance like they did with Esme.

Now for the next chapter I would say that it is about Emmett and something he has done :-P

So Riley is the big idiot that I expected him to be ;) That was really heartless of him and he could as well have stayed in London directly! Moron...

BUT Bella takes up on her responsibility and does exactly the right things: She ends this shindig with Mike and will inform Edward of her situation! I like this, there are so many stories with spontaneous mistakes in these moments, but here Bella does the only right thing!
Of course Edward will be shocked, that's only natural. But I also think that the two of them will be able to talk about it and how it will affect both of their lives. They both know that neither of them has the full responsibility for the pregnancy and so far both of them reacted very mature! PLUS Edward will be over the moon for Bella standing in front of his door ;)

Wow, this was an amazin surprise party! Bella has deserved this and I'm glad she could enjoy it as well.
I would love to see her admit her feelings towards Edward, but obviously it's still too soon so show the real emotions :( It would make things a lot easier for all involved parties ;) But maybe the landlord really takes a long time and maybe the damage is even bigger so that Bella will have to move out completely ;-)

I wonder how Esme really thinks about this and whether she in fact does not care about him either or just hodes it for society's sake... But I wouldn't be shocked if she changed her mind some time during the story... but until now we simply don't know enough about her. 

I was and was not shocked to learn that Carlisle was in the same situation as Edward when he was younger. What I wonder is if Esme knew... He is so cruel that I can't even imagine how he stands his job, where he helps OTHERS and not himself! HOw can he even be a doctor or something close to this?!
I'm so giddy about his reaction once he learns that Edward will change his profession/specialisation! ANd he will be a great doctor, no matter what! With Bella's support he can do anything and he will be happy AND successful - what a shame for Carlisle when the rest of the high and mighty gang learns that he has abandoned his talented son!

The Christmas night of the not-couple was lovely and the presents are great! Rose  is such a good friend in helping with the tree and everything and even though Charlie and Renee couldn't be there, they will be soon and that's all that counts! They love their daughter and support her and I love this ;-)

I think it's good that Edward does not tell Bella now what it's all about, it would upset her although she can#t do anything against it. Especially since she's supposed to relax and so on, it would unnecessarily stress her. She knows something is not right, and she will all to soon learn the truth, I'm sure.

The only question: What is it that brings her in such a worry/stress that she leaves spontaneously?? I hope that it does not hav something to do with Edward's parents...

I liked the talk very much - Edward was honest and they did not need to talk out their feelings for each other since it was about Carlisle and the whole circumstances in Edward's family. However, Bella now already acts like she really is in love with Edward, so it seems strange for me that she does not want to admit this to herself! But we will be patient with her ;)

I'm really curious how Carlisle will react on Edward's resignation - we will all be thrilled while he'll be ultra pissed (hopefully) :D

P.S.: I'm all the way into "A family like ours" and it's a great story!! I started it on fanfiktion.de with the German translation of the first part and then skipped over here to get all the other chapters plus the sequel afterwards.
Even though I do not know a shit about the lifestyle, the story sounds very realistic when it comes to the education and habits!

Another very intense night! I really like your way of describing the feelings between the two because you make us feel what they feel!

I think Edward should not think too much about their relationship, sine it evolves in its own pace. Bella is ready to have a child with thim whenever they are blessed with it, so I think she is ready for a marriage soon, as well.

Puh, that's heavy stuff! I totally understand Em and he really has to sort this out. The question is why Rose and Irina are not talking to each other and if it's permanent. Maybe Rose had an enlightenment and realized that her actions were not ok and that Emmett really is a jewel! At the moment I do not give up the hope that Rose has com to senses, or will do so soon, and that there is still a chance for the two of them, even though this needs time.

I think she is - or alice would not have thrown the result at her. Probably Edward will put her in a bunker so that nothing can happen to her ;-) Hopefully Bella can gain back her strength for her baby and share the good news with Edward soon!

I SO hope that James will be caught... maybe he survives but he will be found. He can't be fast with the injury in his neck!

So Renee will probably not survive this I suppose, even if they can extinguish the flames, she has swallowed the pill that probably will cause her enough inner damage...I would hope that both survive and will be sentenced to a life behind bars! 
But I seriously hope that Edward will not have lasting damages from James' attack...his colleagues will safe him and he will be brought to hospital where later a desperate Bella will find him. But the most important thing is that now it's over and Edward and Bella can hopefully start over and be the family that they deserve to be!

Bella is definitely making a progress here! (I mean of course this is what you intended to show us, but anyways...) The decision to meet Elise was wise and she learned a lot from it, even if she was ery upset before, but this is only natural I think. 
Edward seems to be rather unset, sometimes he is so kind and in the next moment he gets in rage! I wonder when he will finally be able to settle down a bit, mentally. Maybe if they are married? In any case I agree with Bella that she should relax a bit...

"The List" is a good thing fr both Bella and Edward, because it challenges their relationship in a completely new way. I think that, in the end, Edward will support Bella in all activities, and then there are number 9 and 10 still :-D I think if she decides to make marriage number 9, he will be happy (at least partly ;-) ), but we still do not know about number 10, or number 1, originally..

So I'm curious for the next chapter :-)

Wow, Bella really stands up for herself and does the thing that I deem necessary in this very moment. She is right about Edward - he gets sensitive about almost everything and this makes it very hard. She does not say that she does not want to work for this relationship, but Edward doesn't make it a lot easier for her. It is understandable that she feel inferior to him and so I'm curious to see if she really travels to Scotland on her own and when the two will see each other again.

Ooookay! Bella did great with the girls and also with her speech to Edward :D Now he will have to divulge some information to her, because he simply can't negate the fact that her name is on the graveyeard. Is it one of Bella's ancestors or is this stuited for her? Or was it before Carlisle negotiated the peace???

I assume that it will take a while for us to learn why Edward acts the way does, but this is truly horrible! No matter what happened before, but he can't be serious in treating his children like this! Ok I saw a rec for this fic in a different one and was hooked after the first chapter.

You write wonderfully and I really like the development of the story so far! Edward and Bella for once are quite normal people who act how real humans would. That Edward has some of the more special 'interests' that get him off is desribed very well I think, at least it feels like it.

I'm curious to see Bella's answer to his hidden enquiry - he does not know that he's going to probably have the time of his life coming up ;)

Wow... it's good to see that Edward is safe now and that he has not totally lost his senses! Here's in there and Bella will help Eddie to come back out, even if it will take quite some time. But he's there and Carlisle will stay close. I think they may develop kind of like a father and son relationship and this is something that Edward needs right now. He needs reassurance and Carlisle can give this to him.
