OMG...I know Bella deserved some recompense but as I read the chapter, I wondered just how justified she really was in sleeping with Demetri...WOW What a turn of events. I never would have anticipated this sort of betrayal, at least on Bella's part!
Due to the events at the end of the chapter, I couldn't help but hurt for Edward. He never acted out AFTER the blood mating, and Bella took it to an entirely different level by doing what she did knowing full well that she was mated.
However, I admit that part of me was happy that Bella finally gave Edward a taste of his own medicine. I know, I am a hypocritical bitch. LOL

This is great writing. It shows that you've been sucessfull in defining that this was an experience with the monster, not "Edward." Bella realizes this when she says "The monster must have gotten what he wanted, I didn‘t mind."
I can't wait until Bella gets to experience "Edward" and the "monster" is left in the dark. Both of these pieces complete your Edward, but I think that Bella and Edward won't really get to "make love" for the first time until there is more "Edward" than the "monster" when they're being physical.

"If the monster was part of the package, I would take it willingly--" I love this line because it shows the depths of Bella's love! She wants Edward either way!
"I tried to avoid my hips and throat, they were really painful to touch, but I didn’t mind. They were my little reminders of my night with the monster. I would be sad when they disappeared.-" This was so effective!! It says so much that she will be "sad" when the bruises are gone. YOU ARE GOOD!!!
This chapter is gold!!! I REALLY like the deliniation between the monster that made love to Bella and the "true" Edward that woke up the morning after. You did a great job showing Edward's remorse for actions that he can't yet control.

Hee...my favorite line of all time is in this chapter...the one where he's searching for a burial spot and has his mini-eulogy for Edward Junior. It's just so him!

I absolutely loved this chapter. The banter was witty but you were still able to see how much Edward loves Bella by the sacrifice that he made...she totally owns his ass and it showed in this chapter. I wish that she'd named the calf Edward tho...although I like Spike too.
In the grand scheme of things...when it comes to this story...I Love it!! I will miss the shit out of this story...you really did such a great job.

The visit from the Volturi was genius. Bella is considered strange, but at the same time they covet her! I loved the fact that Aro loved the Buffy DVD’s because they were a gift from Bella and she didn’t expect anything in return. This chapter was one of my favorites, and I don’t usually do outtakes.

WOW @ Rose's sacrifice! This is a stunning turn of events and you certainly have the element of surprise! Who would have thought that ROSE would be the saving grace?? I am stunned SPEECHLESS. Emmett's thought process was annoying, but as I continued to evalute the depths of the betrayal that he experienced and the feelings that he had for Rose, it made a tremendous amount of sense.
This line was key:
"Once you are released from the deception of your love, the opposite will come to take its place in your heart."
WOW...Just WOW.
I never anticpated a contention between Em and Aro. WELL DONE.
I don't know what to say other than I will continue to wait with bated breath until the situation is resolved...
