Sir Jasper has done some research on Mordred. We know that he is the half-son, half-nephew of the King, but he also has an army outside of the area. About one hundred miles north lays a castle where Mordred presumably lives. So it is feasible that he could order an attack, although one hundred miles is a long way for someone to travel just to scare someone.
He also said that Mordred is not to be trusted. He has a burning hate for his father and desires the throne. I don’t know he knows this, but Jasper has been good at reading people.
I wish he was here now; I could use his expertise on what to do about Lady Isabella.

Hm. I get what you're saying but Melor is not at all an Edward. Not the original book Edward, anyway. It probably hasn't come out so distinctly yet because things are going so fast and we swich POV often, but Melor is a completely original character with his own personality and atributes. We didn't want this to be a story with vampires in their mythological sphere, which is why it may seem a little more like Stephenie Meyer than say, Bram Stoker or Anne Rice. Vampirism is more like a disease, a genetic mutation, or a disorder. Like lupus, or the X-Mex. Meyer gave her vampires each different powers and Edward happened to be the one who could mind-read. In our story, all the vampires have the ability to read minds as a means of survival, mutual communication, and hunting. This was some cliffy! i was glued to the screen. This chapter was perfection.
Staring with anya. What is her problem? I feel for katen. I have alot of friends i just tolerate for the sake of other friends. But Anya really does have some issues. She is so ....bitter. I can understand the turning but wow. Is it jealousy? Is she mad at her because melor's brother took kira as his waif? and treated her better? Or are these underlying feelings she had from before?
I love how strong katen is and how much she loves her friend. But i also love how Melor technically doesn't have to do anything, because Galen is extremely smart/ I love this budding connection between galen and kira. I can't wait to see where things head with those two! *bbouncing with excitment!*
OMG Melor, is becoming so . touchy and it's cute to see how much he really wants katen. I'm very excited to see their relationship bloom and even more thrilled that katen is falling for him.

I love this chapter, but for some reason, Katen went down a couple of notches to me. She seemed incredibally selfish in a way. She could see her friend wasn't right, and as a good friend she did try to converse with her normally but then she used Kira's incoherant state to ask Melor If he loved her. She used her, and left after she got what she wanted. I know Kira isn't in her right mind, but the situation was more about Kira than the things Katen chose to discuss. Maybe i see it weird because i would be incredibally distraught to see my bestie like that lol, but yeah, Katen did seem selfish as all outdoors. But Galen was perfect/imperfect in his own way, I loved his emotions/feelings, he seemed more concerned than katen in a way. I loved the chapter and I can't wait to see more. but i'm so not on team Katen right now lmao. If you guys could've seen me i was totally narrowing my eyes at her lmao.

love how patient kira was about the blood injection, and how careful galen was. I'm really really intrested in those two and how their story will play out. I remember one of the coucil members was against galen and kira and i can't help but wonder what was his questionable reasons. Will their be more than one person to vie for kira's affections? Kira and Galen seem t obe developing slow and steady and i love that! Though i don't think bailey would like that at all lmao he reminds me so much of my yorkie tyson. He can't stand it if a guy is too close to me or near me he starts biting hands and feet lmao.
Now katen and melor's ...sex talk was so cute lmao. I found myself going "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" their story is something i'm very excted to see. I'm intresting in melors demeanor and how he'll act or respond when it comes to showing husbandly affection towards katen.

I would love to see how a vampire female is mated. Is it the same process as one of the males finding their mate? Does it take time? If she were to um...look for a mate and the person she was looking for was a vampire, would the process still be as long?
And,
Since she is a single female and tends to be getting ebtter day by day, how does that sit with the single makes in the underground? Will she be sought after?
And grigori. poor grigori. I hate but feel sorry for him at the same time. He can not let kira go.
But if he gets her, he's so demented that i'm scared of what he'll do to her.

Heheheh. It's amazing he's being as patient as he is.
I don't see how Galen and Kira's relationship would be any kind of rule breaking, except for Galen's personal and over heightened sense of moral duty. The council doesn't take an interest in mates unless it was in some way a risk to their secret. Their main concern is that Kira be kept in control. I don't think they're too worried about HOW Galen keeps her controlled. ;P
As far as female vampires seeking a mate goes, it's generally the same process. We were going to delve more into that for other couples in the underground, but haven't quite got there yet. Maybe if we don't get to it in the actual story, we'll write some outtakes. A vampire coupling with another vampire would be a much shorter process, assuming it was a vampire who'd already been, "assimilated" so to speak. Does that make sense?
I think we may have some interesting things regarding Kira and single male vampires. Perhaps some jealousy would help kick Galen into action. ;)
We're glad you feel sympathy towards Grigori. He's a complex character that brings out conflicted feelings in many. ;)

The only thing i found a bit off was the lack of concern, or remorse, or freaking out from either one of them. I expect anya to be a bit off. but James was a bit too passive to say a woman he was getting down with laid on the floor dead. But ignore me, i kinda expected a bit more of an emotional react to the chicks death.
